The New Inn in Eden

The motel was very handy for our weekend away fishing nearby. It is right in the village behind a pub, opposite the chippy with another pub and the village shop just round the corner, perfect! The room and bathroom are clean, a reasonable size and includes everything you need whilst away. Check in and out very easy, will be back.

Very clean and comfortable. So handy for York you can pick up the bus which runs every hour and takes right into the city. There's a pubs which serves food at weekend and a Cantonese Restaurant within a couple of minutes walk. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back . This was our 3rd visit.

We booked her on a whim as we left it kind of last min, it's not in the center of York. But it's near enough to the park and ride and the information they have Im the rooms is very helpful. Parking in York's rather expensive. We spoke to the lady who owns the property, she was extremely friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend

Lovely comfortable room, was very clean and it had everything we needed. Located in a nice quiet village. Easy to park, great value for money. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

Fabulous room, absolutely spotless and very cosy. Everything you could need is provided and replenishments are made during your stay. Lovely quiet countryside location- silent at night time, slept so well! Mobile and internet reception patchy all over York unfortunately and especially in Huby, but WiFi provided at the motel. Difficult getting taxis into town from here. Anyway the motel itself is wonderful, would definitely recommend (Heidi and Jack- weekend of 17th December)

It was spotless - had tea and coffee making facilities and superb shower room. Caroline - the owner- popped by to check everything was okay and when we were out she replenished the tea andcoffee making facilities - would highly recommend this - we had a fabulous stay.

We were at a wedding at Crayke Manor and found this lovely motel which is 5 minutes from the venue. We stayed in bungalow 5 which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Paul and Carolyn are lovely hosts. There's lots around in this beautiful part of the countryside. We highly recommend this lovely motel as a base to stay.

The food was delicious. We went with friends and were not disappointed. We received a warm and friendly welcome and the service was spot on. The portions were huge and sadly I couldn't finish mine because I was so full. We all enjoyed our evening at the New Inn and will definitely be going back. Thankyou to the hosts. 😊Karen.

Carolyn and Paul are great host been coming here for a few years now it's a home from home . The bed is nice and firm nice clean room with a nice shower with lots of hot water it's nice to find a shower where you can adjust the showerhead which is on a hose because most hotels have a fixed shower head . Its a great base if you want to get to the dales or moor's and about 9 miles from York if you don't fancy driving into York there is a bus which run quite regular

A little oasis of quiet and quality is to be found even for the non motorist who prefers a country location. An hourly bus service from York Station to the door. The rooms are large and of a high standard. The hosts make you more than welcome and make your stay warm and relaxed almost as part of their family.
