Treetops Pooley Bridge in Eden

We went here today, with our children, we kept in our 'bubble, as a group, our children were spending about 30, to 40 pound with of goods, the lady with the black hair behind the counter, was rather rude and dispresctdul, she spoke to us as though we were children, and we disnt know the rules. I was shocked, and disnt expect to be spoke to like dirt, I'd of thought after lockdown, someone within the customer service shop industry, would have been lot nice towards people. Also my friend bought some shorts, that she took back that were not worn, at all or taken out the bag. She said no, you have to spend the money in the shop, and when she bought them, she never provided her with a receipt so there was nonrefind policy, VERY COMVENIENT !!

The seating area at the rear overlooking the river is excellent. I only had a coffee which was average price for the area.

Height of summer in the Lake District and you can get a two cup pot of tea or a great filter coffee AND a bacon torpedo for £3.95. that doesn't get you a cup of coffee in some places. Great VFM. Nice bacon too, not supermarket water injected.

Nice little gift shop which sells a great variety of things to do with the local/wider area of the lakes, also has a small selection of outdoor footwear and clothing

Whenever I'm in the Lakes i always stop here for ice cream. Well stocked souvenir gift shop as well as a pleasant tea room. Has some camping supplies.

Visited on stop at Pooley bridge when on the Ullswater steamers. Has lots of souvenirs and friendly staff to help. Has delicious ice cream too.

Visited on Thursday July 28th 2016 and had a cream tea as part of a special Lakeland tour. It was the best cream tea ever with 6 courses. All so fresh and lovely. Thank you Richard and your staff!
