Lovely little venue, excellent food in the restaurant, and the theatre has a wonderfully intimate atmosphere for live music.

A brilliant handy stopover when we travel between Scotland and England. The gallery exhibits are sadly reduced, but good luck with the puppet venture. The homity pie is to die for.

Delicious food, particularly appreciated by the vegetarian members of my family

A friend of ours took us here today for lunch. Super tasty food, vegetarian only, I had an excellent toated croissant with mozzarella, tomatoes, and pesto and a side of chips (fries). It tasted amazing. Very friendly service, plenty of parking. They have log cabins available to rent on property. Come by and enjoy some lunch!!!

We used to go regularly, but the last two times the service was slow. We were moved from the room we booked and the food was just ok. A few years ago we couldn't get enough of the place. Is it now under new management. We won't be going back. Quite sad because it used to be ten out of ten.

Lovely service, affordable gifts in the shop and delicious vegetarian food. Try the Stilton and veg crumble in season or the hommity pie. What's not to like? Recent Chinese prints were amazing. We've supported Upfront for years with our custom and they have always delighted. Hopefully for many more years to come.

If you like vegetarian or vegan food this is the place for you. Lovely food and service. Puppet theatre and small concert venue also there.

Beautifully home-cooked vegetarian food, lovely desserts, friendly and efficient staff. The only thing to remember is to book early on in the day as some of the best stuff will have already been consumed! It is well-known for its food, it's paintings and puppet shows

My husband and I visited Upfront today with our grandson. The food from the cafe was beautiful and we will definitely visit again. I then took my grandson to see the puppet show Jack and the beanstalk. The show was very cleverly put together and all the puppets were amazing!! Everyone seemed to love the show and there was opportunity at the end to see the puppets close up, and also to be able to have photographs taken. Wonderful service and lovely staff, we will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone
