Walker's Tea Room in Eden

Only happened upon this place a couple of weeks ago. Called on spec for Sunday lunch (see photos). Lovely gallery and craft shop on ground floor, dining on 1st floor, but there is a lift.They also run a multitude of craft workshops.Called on spec again this Sunday but they were fully booked - note to self, book next time!

Fantastic quality food and good portion sizes. Plenty of choice of drinks available and a selection of different loose leaf teas. Food menu is a little limited but the main draw is the afternoon teas and cakes.

Had a wonderful morning making a fairy door with Lynn, it was a small class so had lots of one-to-one training and was great for beginners. If you book a class make sure you book for lunch afterwards, the food is lovely!

If I could give my experience with the Eden Workshop 10 stars I would. I had an amazing morning making a fairy door in clay. I was in a group or four and our tutor Lynn was so friendly and helpful. The whole experience was so enjoyable so much so that the time flew by. A look around the gallery of art work and fancy goods, then upstairs for a delicious lunch ( booking advisable). Friendly staff lovely surroundings, easy to find. I will defiantly going back for more fun mornings.

Had a fantastic morning today taking part in the Fairy Lantern clay workshop. Very friendly atmosphere and a very patient instructor. Can’t wait to go back to pop the glaze on and am already booked on another pottery workshop.

I absolutely love going to Eden tea rooms! I have attended the pottery throwing and water colour Wednesday and thoroughly enjoyed them both. All the staff are extremely friendly and made me feel so welcome. The tea room is beautifully laid out with fantastic views over the fields. Every time I go to the gallery, there is always something new to look at. All the artists who display their work are incredibly talented and it is a joy to view their work. I would definitely recommend attending the workshops and enjoy a hot drink at the same time!

An amazing establishment. Food comes quick, they always fit us in even when we haven't booked a table . Such lovely, polite staff who always check on you. Love how they have done the place up. Love the cups and tea pots and not to forget the 'tea timers' which are a lovely touch. The new lady training was amazing. Thank you. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This was a lunch for 4 adults. Very enjoyable food and atmosphere. Very attentive to those with allergies. Not keen on the rice for the curry being served on wooden plates. Needs to be in a bowl. Need to review the coffee supplier. The art centre downstairs was worth the trip on its own.

We visited this lovely place today, excellent food presentation was top draw..very nice and a nice friendly atmosphere.Definitely wort another visit..will have to book though if you want a decent table as they go very quickly..

Phenomenal place. Absolutely brilliant modern new building. Cafe is on first floor, has lift access + stairs. For the region, its super modern, super fresh, and super stylish. ... Massive array of brilliant cakes and desert, scones to die for, and proper brilliant coffee. Helpful, friendly, Full table service was impeccable and very fast. Good size choice of sofas or tables. Uncertain if there is an alternate menu, but the lunch menu was outstanding. ... Remember, it's a very classy cafe, not a Michelin restaurant, so I wouldnt go expecting a Gordon Ramsay, 10 course meal experience. ... properly Amazing staff, like AMAZING...... Downstairs is a small, brilliant, bespoke art gallery, with a kids art classroom adjacent. ... Gravel car park is big and easily accessible. Couldn't see any potholes or problems for the lowest or most expensive of cars. Covid was being considered with hand wash, some dividers, disinfection of surfaces, ventilation, and how they were seating customers... Stop reading this, and just go visit for a coffee or more, it's worth it.
