Had the champagne afternoon tea here with my family. It was wonderful, the restaurant was spacious and relaxed, the food was delicious and beautifully presented and the staff were lovely, mum was particularly taken with our servers smile 😃. We'll worth the trip for a special occasion (and not overly expensive either) I will definitely be going there again.

Very old / dated room. Very old fashioned and not worth £350 for two nights! Misleading as the website states rooms are modern! Definitely not 4 star rooms. Bed was also very uncomfortable with the springs digging into my back. Breakfast was slow, waited 45 minutes for pancakes which resembled and tasted more like an omelette. Overpriced for what it was.

This hotel can not keep their staff for very long. It is like a revolving door with the high staff turnover this hotel have.Probably due to the fact that the way they treat the staff which borders on pretty disgusting.Especially the low key staff such as cleaners and kitchen porters.Anyone thinking about applying here for any job would be well advised to keep away.

Popped on for lunch, table of 8. All agrees the food was excellent as was the service but despite there being plenty of staff the wait between courses and for drinks was huge. From menus to leaving was just under three hours

"Good and the Bad"Place look amazing, food great and much improved. Staff on the whole excellent. Main manager a great asset, sat with us and made us feel welcome. Mike excellent on reception.Bar staff shocking. Miserable is an understatement. Made no eye contact and actually said "what do you want" when stood at bar. I believe he was the bar manager too!!!Excellent place let down by 2 staff which is a position you would expect service to be top notch. Maybe they need to take a leaf out of the managers and recetpionists books and smile and be nice! Will be back though

Excellent Hotel, very comfortable and smart. Staff friendly and helpful. Food good.Find the rooms lamps a bit hard work and annoying when getting ready.Lovely bathrooms, we found the basins a bit low for us.Diffinetly visit again.

We had a wonderful stop over. The new decor is fantastic absolutely fits the bill. Nice to see familiar faces in the dining room and reception. We felt truly relaxed. Our room was spotless. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and service excellent.Nice to be given happy hour vouchers for Christmas cocktails but sadly the barman didn't know how to make them! Later on had great G and Ts made by another bar man.Bar service is an art form which can make a venue stand out. A little more guest interaction and training to provide the items on the menu would greatly improve things.Very much looking forward to family Christmas lunch on 22nd!

We had a work off-site here in the Library for 6 colleagues, and one colleague and I stayed for 2 nights. Damien (I hope that's his name) was superb, he helped the day go smoothly with teas, coffees, biscuits, lunch and help with technology. He could not have been any more helpful. A real credit to the hotel. We loved the lady at breakfast but I didn't get her name. She brought us the most delicious mini smoothies while we were deciding our breakfast options. Your staff are wonderful, friendly, great at their jobs and creating a positive customer experience. Thanks for a lovely stay.

ReviewStayed mid week for 2 nights. The Clifton Arms is a beautiful and stylish Hotel. The reception staff were professional, polite and welcoming. Our room was clean and the bathroom was spotless. We ordered room service which was prompt, the food was hot, the drinks were chilled and well presented. Breakfast was amazing, staff were friendly and could not do enough for us. There was a great selection of food and drinks which were fresh and of high quality. Checkout was quick and simple, again the staff were amazing with their goodbyes. Lytham is a lovely place where we have made some special memories.

Great hotel with brilliantly attentive staff. Room wasn't the biggest but was on the cheapest rate. A clean and modern hotel in great location with free parking or should I say no charge, although you can easily park on roads around the hotel. Breakfast was great. Will be returning and maybe stump up for a sea view this time. Love love love it.
