This has got to be the best chippy on the Fylde Coast. In all the years of visiting Dawsons, I can honestly say I've never had anything bad to say. Fantastic fish and chips always cooked fresh and hot. Plus very generous portions. A genuine 5 star chip shop. Fantastic!

Great chippy, overshadowed by the most miserable man in the world working there.

Nice chippy fast friendly service chips and curry are bang on so was the spam fritter unfortunately the cheese burger was saturated with fat to the point of it being soggy and dripping but I would still return for the chips because they are nice tbf

Probably the best around the Kirkham and surrounding areas and it does take some beating! Many have tried but failed. It is a little pricey and would set you back around £10-15 for fish and chips for 2 but kind of worth it :) It does mainly teatimes but is not open later in the evening, so it is worth being aware of opening times and getting there about 3 hours prior as it gets super busy! I am not sure if it is open at lunch time in usual non covid circumstances.

Best fish and chips this side of the pennines. Home made fishcakes are simply the best I've ever had. Great banter, very popular so I always telephone my order in 15 minutes in advance.

Delicious and quality food, sometimes busy, but you get your food in a reasonable time slot. Love the homemade pies and the fish and chips is a good size. But you can only get it in 1 size. Although the best fish and chip shop ever 😍😍😍

Had these for the first time when we'd just moved to the area over 2 years ago, chips and pie were awful. We always see a big queue so wanted to give them another try, so had them today. The chips were full of grease all the way through, with no flavour except old oil. Can't believe the rave reviews of this place, perhaps we've been unlucky twice but we won't be going back. Such a shame as we like to stay local but will stick to Seniors from now on, it's worth going the extra distance for such a better standard of food.
