Dobbies Garden World Preston in Fylde

So every Sunday we visit Dobbies Preston for food after my granddaughters riding lesson.When we went to order breakfast at 11:10 we were told no more breakfasts as the chef had to many breakfast orders.We decided to choose a different food to then be told that menu wasn’t available until 12:00.So you have a cafe that you can’t supply food.There were many seats available so it wasn’t a mad rush.So is it the chef isn’t adequate.Not enough kitchen staff.Or just inadequate management.We left Dobbies.You just asked me to be a Dobbies card holder, and I have signed up.However if this is the facility and the options of service it will get cancelled.

Afternoon tea for 3 booked to celebrate elderly mum's birthday. Afraid to say was very disappointed. We were showed to very small table facing a wall in a seperate area from everyone else and well.aqqay from any natural light We moved when tea arrived as the three teapots filled the table!Sandwiches were adequate although I would have preferred butter rather than margerine...but that's my preference. Cakes were ok if a little soggy but the scones were gigantic , dry and tasted of baking powder.All in all very disappointing.

The resturant if thats what you call it is probably the worst ive been too in many years .. tables uncleared many for the entire 45 mins we were there.many of the lights didnt work so it was quite dark . The few cleared tables were dirty Food order late and then when it arrive it was the wrong order . Food overpriced and poor quality . This place should be closed down until they can sort out how to run the place properly we saw a few customers walk away as nowhere to sit . i contacted the head office and they werent really interested ..

Unfortunately called in the cafe and due to Covid staff shortages no main meals and was told they keep reordering food supply’s as well and not received the staff in the cafe were doing their best .👏🏻. I went to the toilets ladies tidy but smelled like the septic tank wanted emptied I recommend Brewer’s Dinkley Blackburn

First and only time here. Wait for food inexcusable, several customers came in after us and were served their food well before us. Food, pie and chips and a ploughman's ordered at 12:20 and at 13:10 still sat waiting, despite asking where our food was. Would NOT recommend

Went for breakfast but despite checking on the website first when we arrived there was no hot food just a notice saying they were sorry but there was a shortage of some items. There was cakes and coffee but who wants this for breakfast at 10am. Staff were not bothered there was nobody to ask. On shopping at the Cotton Traders outlet the assistant seemed to think maybe they were taking orders at the coffee counter but there was nothing to confirm this and we left hungry and disappointed. Won't be going back.

Great range of products, clean, very tidy store. I had a specific product I required and Peter was very helpful. Staff are very helpful and friendly the key to being a successful Retail operation. Well done!

This is just for the café, we did not explore any further. But it is eorth noteing that there is a Maidenhead Aquatics outlet and a small Sainsbury on site. The bacon brie and cranberry toastie was very good. Comfortable seating and pleasant atmosphere in café.

I needed some appropriate plants for family graves and couldn't find what I was looking for. A very kind assistant helped me and, as I have mobility problems, he brought a choice of plants to the checkout area from which I made my choice. Thank you so much for your excellent help.

Just called in for a look around. Skiing Mrs Tiggiwinkle is coming home with us. Stopped at the cafe, which to be frank was a bit of an ordeal of patience. Lots of staff working hard, needs to be much smarter. Someone needs to get in there and organise it.
