Our waitress jenny was a marvel. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She approached her job in a kind professional manner without being overbearing. I shall visit this restaurant again if this is typical of the service we can expect . Thank you jenny for helping to make our visit memorable.

We were a group of 6 adults and a 2 year old child. We were celebrating my belated birthday due to Covid. The food had been highly recommended by others, so we decided to try it.We weren't disappointed. The Set menu was ideal and a very good price.Cocktails were enjoyed by most of us, and instead of a birthday cake I had a Knickerbocker Glory......and it didn't disappoint. The thing that made our visit memorable though was our server Jordan. He was polite, knowledgeable, patient, and watching him with other tables he was versatile. He also gained an admirer......the 2 year old on our table 🙊He amended his customer service skills to deal with each table, as he saw appropriate...not something many people can do.The skills Jordan showed whilst serving us, and those around us, highlighted what an asset he is to your company.I am a store manager and i would be proud to have someone like Jordan on my team.Well done 🌟🌟🌟

Decided to have Christmas Day dinner at Miller & Carter this year. It was absolutely fantastic. The staff were warm, welcoming and did an amazing job. The food was nothing short of brilliant.Luke, our host was brilliant. Regularly checking to see if we were happy but not hovering. Brilliant.

It was my daughter's birthday and my son-in-law had booked a table for six at 6:15pm. It was busy when we got there and we had been given a booth, which unfortunately, I can't get into because of a medical problem, but no matter, we were given another table, with no huffing and puffing or having to wait. We were assigned a waiter who handed us our menus and then asked if anyone had any allergies - I am allergic to eggs and I am also on a very strict diet............from that point onwards, I was treated like royalty. I have eaten in restaurants in many far flung countries, but I have never been treated better than I was treated at Miller and Carter on Saturday evening. The waiter, correctly asked if I wanted to speak to the dedicated allergy person, but in my estimation, in other restaurants, that usually leads to consternation and delays so I said no, I was happy to be advised by him. Unobtrusively and without spoiling the evening for anyone else, he took me knowledgeably through ingredients, and spoke to the chef and I had one of the nicest meals I've ever had. I started with the Beef Croquette - something I would never normally look at - they were delicious. The different cuts and weights of the steaks were explained to me and things were pointed out on the menu that I hadn't noticed and the chef did me a lovely light oil and balsamic vinegar dressing - I had an 8oz sirloin with peppercorn sauce and a salad - it was yummy and so much of it - I was stuffed! When it came to the pudding, I didn't even want to look because I knew there was nothing on the menu that I could eat - except our lovely waiter said that he didn't know what was available, but would I be interested in a fresh fruit salad - he asked the chef and no, it was not on the menu but, busy as they were and alongside doing my daughter a lovely 'Happy Birthday' plate, I was served with a fruit salad that was oh so delicious with raspberries, crisp apple wedges, tart citrus slices, blueberries and bananas - the most perfect end to a perfect meal. I did ask for the bell to be rung for 'compliments to the chef' but it should also be rung for compliments to our waiter for exemplary service. I didn't get our waiter's name, but he's tall and slim, dark haired and wears glasses and he is an asset to this lovely restaurant. Thank you Miller and Carter.
