Popped in for lunch and Although the sandwiches were tasty, they were overpriced. The kids box promised a cupcake, my granddaughter was looking forward to it but was very disappointed when a mini chocolate roll was given as an alternative, try and explain that to a 3 year old! The tea room had 3 of 10 tables occupied and the pot of tea advertised as English breakfast tea was cheap and tasteless. So many improvements could be made but relying on local customers will not keep this early closing business open for long

Our second visit here since the move from St Annes. Yet again we were very impressed with the quality of the food and the prices. The staff were very friendly and obliging. We were at a loss as to the validity of previous contrary reviews regarding the staff. We would not hesitate to recommend a visit to this cafe.My only request is too please please restore you're delicious Eggs Benedict to the menu.

I am local to the area and it is well known that the two individuals that run the cafe are extremely rude, vulgar, arrogant. It has often been discussed in and around lytham what would possess these two individuals to go into a business where by they encounter the general public. They both seem unhappy in there life’s and this is projected onto 95% of the customers that have the misfortune of coming across these women.

I would not recommend visiting the tea rooms. It's such a shame because the community cafe which was there prior was a joy to visit. The staff at Quirky tea rooms were rude. I ordered hot drinks for takeaway. The tea was too full and when I picked up the cup the lid came off and spilled hot tea over my hand. There was no drinks holder or cardboard to place over the cup to stop the cup from burning my hand when trying to pick it up. I tried again to pick up the cup of tea to take outside and the lid came off again infront of the staff who saw the tea burn my hand and they did not say anything or offer to pour some of the tea away. I struggled to carry the tea outside and then poured some away as it was too full. The toilets closed early which left the park with no toilets. When I tried to order an ice cream at the tea rooms I was told rudely by a member of staff that you can only purchase ice creams at the kiosk outside. I will not visit again and will be bringing a picnic in future visits to the park.

Made a substantial detour just to visit the place following reviews to be told at 2.55pm out of a 4.0pm closing time that no longer serving food, not even cold sandwiches. This was after a rather disinterested young male took over5 mins to acknowledge our presence and inform us that ordering was done at the counter not table. Will not take the trouble to visit here again with so much choice on the main street nearby and no mention of a food cut off time anywhere on the net or in the establishment.

Cute little cafe, service was a bit slow, few things forgotten and had to ask for them, no forks given out, had to vacate table as another booking after us but we were not advised this at booking
