The staff are rude. The front of house is erratic and arrogant. From entering there is no welcome, no smiles, no interaction at all. Service feels like it is just going through the motions in some sort of robotic fashion. Simply not good enough for what it tries to be - a higher end restaurant. The food was underwhelming and overpriced (I am giving an extra star for the pizza which was surprisingly good). We quickly realised why it was the only half empty restaurant in Lytham. Everywhere else was full!

Yummy food with very friendly staff. Really fresh fish and tasty sides. Very much enjoyed myself.

Awful. My husbands roast Sunday dinner was barely warm and not tasty. The seafood platter looked and tasted nothing like the menu, if you could show me the lobster or crab i will bow to.you and what happened to the large prawn!! Not there, horrible but very expensive. Staff inattentive and dashing round so much they could be on roller skates

Black pudding was dry and the fried egg overdone. Honey glazed gammon was ok but dry, not enough sauce although mash was nice. *edit* Not impressed at the time but to be fair, went back the following week with nicer food and excellent service so upped my review to 4 stars

The restaurant was quire busy and the staff coped well, even when a group came in unexpectedly. The staff was attentive and helpful. The menu was varied and tasty. I would definitely come again.

Mediocre meal which is over priced. Management and owner dislike and ignore feedback and don't honour offers advertised.I don't like to give bad reviews but this one is truly justified. The restaurant is providing attractive offers on 6 days a week advertised in a leaflet on the table and your bill is enclosed in the leaflet. The leaflet promotes their festive menus and dedicates a page to Autumn and Winter treats. On Friday 12th November when we booked online and ate at the restaurant there appeared to be "A massive 20% off your entire bill" but we were told at the table and by the owner when paying that this offer was not available until January. As this offer is advised to be available in both the Autumn and Winter I asked the owner which season did he think we are currently in. He replied November and would not admit that we were in Autumn. The advertising by not being honoured appears to breach Consumer Protection legislation and impacts the pockets of the good people of Lytham who have supported this restaurant through the difficult Covid times and now. I am sure that other restaurants in Lytham would also be annoyed to lose business to this restaurant due to this advertising which is not being honoured.Unfortunately our food was also not good as the fish was overcooked, luke warm and poorly presented on the plate.

Chef was fantastic! Open kitchen so you see your food being prepared. Exceptionally clean and waitress really cared about her tables!

Great tasting seafood! Starters, mains and dessert were all extremely good quality and reasonably priced. Service was prompt and knowledgeable, however the server forgot a request 2 times, but he did seem to be the only one on the floor serving everyone.Being able to see the kitchen in full swing from out table was great, the chefs did make the mistake of putting clams in one of our dishes when we requested no clams, however they were a happy surprise as they were soo tasty! Definitely come back here again!

I don’t think it is a “seafood” restaurant. I ordered a seafood sharing platter for two, and was totally disappointed.Firstly, the seafood is not fresh at all, especially mussels and clams, many of them didn't open. Secondly, I don’t understand why they put the bread together with the mussels and clams. Maybe it looks more abundant but it is very disgusting after the breads are full of the soup in the mussels and clams sauce. Finally, we have been waiting for our order for over 1 hour. They keep delivering the hot dishes from the kitchen for other consumers. I understand it was a peak hour but I hope they can just tell me before I order. Also, my plate is full of the finished mussels and clams when I am eating but no one helps to change the plate for me, the staff always look busy. The seafood sharing platter costs 70 pounds and it is not worth it.Very disappointed.

Delicious food and friendly staff. We had a great lunch here. Mum had three tapas which she thoroughly enjoyed, another friend had the fish and chips which was HUGE! Another friend and I had the gnocchi which was delicious and very filling. Will eat here again!
