Customer service is really poor. We were told to go through to the restaurant last night then ordered our meal. About 10 minutes later we were asked to leave as they said the restaurant had closed and they were running out of chips. We had come all the way from Bradford. They said the person who had said we could come through was ‘only staff’ as opposed to the very unhelpful manager.

Been in the same family for generations and you can tell. Well presented food, plenty of it and the fish is sublime. Can't wait for our next visit.

Sensational chippy at half price! Lovely staff delivering the freshest food with a cheery smile. This is a first class operation. Haddock is absolutely delicious and the oil for the chips is light and always fresh.

The best fish and chips I have had for a long time. I ordered medium haddock and medium chips and I could barely finish it. The fish was just cooked to perfection. I would definitely visit again.

Quick update to this review, we went to Headroomgate Road chip shop who stick to their advertised hours, great fish and chips. Sorry I'll be going there again.Just been for dinner and they were closed at so 19:15, I rang at 17:00 to ask for delivery but was told the latest delivery was 19:00, 30 mins before closing so said I would collect. The web site says 20:00 the girl on the phone said 19:30 but they had closed when they felt like it. I don't care when they close but fix a time and stick to it. As a customer of over 50 years you have now lost my custom.again for our usual and I'm sorry to say that standards are slipping, the pudding was the best you can get but the chips were bits and soggy and my wife's fish was soft with soggy batter.Just had fish, gravy, home made pudding and chips. I've been going there for over 50 years and the pudding was as good as always but the fish was very small not the usual size. Hope it was just a one off.

Walked out as initially we were told fish & chips would be £15.00 each and when we said that was too much they offered us a special deal for £6.00 ! They has sold out of Cod and only offered Halibut. Not impressed when lady serving sneezed the didnt wash her hands or use a handkerchief. Would not recommend or ever visit again !

What a fantastic find!!!Rainy Saturday in lock down. We had driven along Blackpool prom and kept on going until we hit upon the St. Anne's fish restaurant. The best freshly cooked chips I've ever had. Social distancing measures work perfectly. Staff friendly. Will definitely return!
