The kingfisher is definitely worth a visit! The servers are friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious and home cooked and the portions are generous!

I have visited the Kingfisher three times now, it is very welcoming and staff are very proactive in their customer service. I have not been disappointed with the food I have chosen which includes starters, main courses and desserts. I Have enjoyed my visits and have no problem in making this a regular venue for lunch or tea.

We decided to pop in for Sunday dinner but wished we never had bothered. The roast potatoes had dried out making it near impossible to cut them up, the Yorkshire pudding were overcooked to the point they shattered when a fork was placed inside them. Food was served warm. The only saving grace on the plate is a generous portion of roast beef was served up.I have had a lot better carverys for the price and overall I was disappointed with the kingfisher experienceOn the positive side, the staff were very friendly and the place is very welcoming and clean.

Took my family out for a meal on the here on the 8th April. First time I have visited The kingfisher, as I have heard my daughter in law mention, she has been with her grandparents. The meal was absolutely amazing, delicious, the staff were very nice, both my grandson's cleared there plate and said it was delicious. Thank you so much for making us feel welcome. Xx

Great place to grab a quick bite. Reasonably priced and the food is good for its price point. Staff always friendly and helpful. Must say a big thank you for dashing out after Jr left his Spiderman 🙄

Nipped in with a mate on the way back from moving houses. Didn't expect much. However was welcomed with lovely staff. Great atmosphere with lovely people around. Food was amazing and decent average price. Couldn't ask for a better outskirt pub. Would definitely visit again.

Booked a table here as we needed a wheelchair accessible and dog friendly place to eat. The first server to take a drinks order was quite abrupt stating 'we don't do bar service so you need to go through me'. So we ordered drinks with her which were prompt in arrival then we had a 20 minute wait until she returned to be able to order food. Another 30minutes until our food arrived -food was pretty nice apart from the suet pudding of which the meat was too tough to eat. We then asked for a dessert menu, after 15 minutes I asked the same server if we could order to which she seemed taken aback - didn't really understand why. So after 20 minutes still no desserts, asked how long it would be to be told another 5 minutes - to which we asked for desserts to be cancelled as we had now been in the restaurant for 2 hours and had only had 1 course. For a Saturday evening the restaurant was not busy with plenty of empty tables around us. As we paid and left we then overheard the same server making derogatory comments to her manager regarding us which cemented our experience. Would definitely not return which is a shame as the food was nice.

Accommodated a large party at short notice. Communication was excellent. Staff were amazing and attentive. Small gripes with a couple of the meals but overall mainly all tasty and good value. Many thanks Josh and team.

Absolutely lovely meals. It was our first time here, my daughter lives near and suggested it.Wasn't dissapointed with the meals we all enjoyed them.I had the large roast dinner and one of my daughter's did, it was so tasty the beef was lovely.Very colourful plate as there was Savoy cabbage and carrot batons and the cauliflower cheese was lovely. Homemade roast potatoes and two big homemade Yorkshire puddings. My partner loved the salt and pepper chicken and chips.Would definitely go here again, lovely inside and the staff so attentive, couldn't fault it

Good service and wide ranging menu with average prices. Coffee is very nice. On this visit I ordered a chicken wrap which was okay but not the best I have eaten. However, my friend ordered a different dish and really enjoyed it. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Well worth visiting.
