Gutted been waiting to try this place instead of Blue Mango, spice inn and spice Prescot... But I'm in no rush to go back restaurant is lovely but food was average and waiters grab your plate before you finish constantly asking are you done

Great food, lovely service.

We ate here for Christmas Dinner and the staff were very welcoming and gave great service making our first time of having Christmas Dinner out a lovely experience! Lovely food and can't wait to revisit! Thanks Barton Rouge!

Went for our tea for new years eve. Booked our table several days before, on our arrival, they had no booking in our name but was unwelcomingly gave a table, as one table hadn't shown up and were half hour late for their booked table. We found staff unorganised, abrupt and rushed. It was a set meal and was not told this on our booking. 32.95 a head. Was not expecting that. Starters and mains. Food was nice. Asked for the bill 5 times, half hour later we just got up to go and then they sorted our bill. No thankyou or hope you enjoyed your meal. I won't return.

Visited Barton Rouge on Monday 27th December.Three friends were up north,we normally go straight to Manchester to eat,but this time we thought we'd try something different....I'm glad we did.The food was lovely, the service was on point and the portions were generous. And to top it off,Barton Rouge are very reasonablely priced,no rip off merchants here. The decor was also very tasteful, and not too over the top, which can spoil the overall experience.Had a quick chat with Nashir, one of the partners, who was very attentive and friendly.Overall a very good experience and would recommend.

Lovely decor. Very accommodating until food arrived. Cold sent back twice. Third time returned chopped up and microwaved

Good food but over priced, would go again but like I said it's over priced.

·

Really decent food, good service, a good dining experience.

1st time eating here. We were passing on our way home from a day out and we are so pleased we chose to eat here. The best Indian meal we have ever had! Fresh, cooked to perfection, spectacularly delicious food. The restaurant was beautiful and clean. The staff were very attentive and one man (I wish we'd got his name) in particular was very friendly and made us feel right at home. Even the kids (age 6 and 9) were very impressed with the whole experience and said they would definitely like to come back there again.

I really want to love this place being our local Indian but every time it let's me down. The food is more expensive than competitors and despite the restaurant almost always being empty it takes FOREVER to get your food. A sign of it being freshly made? Maybe so, although the use of excessive oil just spoils the curries and overall its poor :( you leave feeling like you've consumed your weekly calorie intake
