I had fish,chips and peas from here last night with a buttered barm. I’m sorry but it was the worst fish and chips I have ever had. The chips were hard little bits... we had a large bag and in that large bag we didn’t have one full size normal chip. The fish Didn’t look or taste like cod and the batter was a dark orange colour that tasted of old fat. The mushy peas were that salty I couldn’t eat them. And to top it off the buttered barm was hard, dry and stale with hardly any butter on. I threw it all in the bin and had a bag of wotsits. Very disappointed.

Disgusted with the state my food was served!!Warm up chips mixed with fresh chips with added burnt overcooked chips that where so hard they near broke my tooth!Curry was cold and salty !!I wont be going there again thats a cert!

This has to be the worst chip shop in widnes if not the northwest . called in on my way home from work, when i opened them at home i couldn't believe how bad they were, .... the chips were well over cooked i'm guessing they've been reheated more than once and most of them were discoloured ( black / green ) they went straight in the bin...take my advice & don't go anywhere near cam lee's, look elsewhere. . i only rated it 1 star because it wont let me give them 0 star.
