Had a delicious carvery here. Very popular pub. A tip: download the Greene & King(I think)app & order through that EVEN IF you're sitting down at a table, it's SO much quicker than ordering at the counter.

Go here quite often, with the partners 20% discount we get some really good offers.Food is 99% of the time great. Service is often hit and miss but overall we enjoy our experiences.We will be continuing to go for a very long time. I just wish at times they would have more staff on as people cueing to order food or pay their tab can be farcical at times!

I am a frequent visitor to The Evenwood and have been for many years, and I must admit that the Carvery served by Liam yesterday was the best I have had. The food was hot, fresh, and there were even some new choices I hadn’t saw before! We’d just missed out on the last of the standard gravy, and even though it was getting late Liam went to the trouble of making some fresh for a member of our party who didn’t fancy the onion one. Thanks for a great experience 👍🏼

Came here on Sunday what an amazing place staff are so Friendly Couldn't believe how busy it was carvery was so tasty and hot. Would like to thank Charlotte and Paul on the door for Seating us Even got a goodbye from both of them on are way out we will Definitely be coming back Don't Usually give Reviews but just had to give this place one . Booked a table for four adults and 1 teenager. Arrived and were just told to stand and wait as our table wasn't ready. It was busy which was fine. We went to get drinks and noticed booth empty. We went back and Allen nicely said he will get our table cleaned ASAP as my elderly mother was standing and he even offered to get her a chair.I went to speak to the hostess to say couldn't we sit in a booth? She said as we had a child with us we had to sit in the children's part. I explained he was a teenager but that was policy as under 16. But she would try and sit us not in the kids bit. By the time I walked back. Lovely Allen has cleaned and set up our table.Screaming kids and not being happy we looked at the menu. Then the manager and hostess moved us to a booth which we thanked them for.We ordered our food which took some time but again it was busy so we understood. 2 meals came out and were finished. But took over an hour and asking two members of staff to get the other three meals. My nephews steak was also rare which had to be sent back again and was offered another coke whilst he waited but he declined as the poor love was starving.Allen came to clear some glasses away. Such a lovely and welcoming member of the Evenwood team!

We are regulars to the Evenwood as the food and homely atmosphere are so good. Liam the carvery manager is always very personable and amenable, a real asset to the team, and his carverys are always top notch. Waiting staff are always on hand and the service is very good, Alan and Harry are always very helpful. Thank you.

Dropped in for the Carvery today. As tasty as always. Little treat for me as I didn't have to cook dinner. Great value for money. I had the small plate. Good selection but I did find the roasties a little salty. Great parsnips though!

Ate tonight at Evenwood, excellent service from Alan 10/10 couldn't have been more courteous and helpful, nice food too bar running out of rump steak. Only negative was 2 servers came to clear plates at different times including bending over whilst some of group still eating. Please wait till all finished.

Lovely service from Allan! Made us feel welcome, helped us with our order and had a little laugh when we ordered. Only thing, there was some dirty cutlery on our table. We asked for replacements and the staff were fine about it and we’re more than happy to help.

Another lovely time at the Evenwood Farm. Our server, Allan, was fantastic! He listened and delivered on our requirements. We always have a great time here and all the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for having us!
