Four Topped Oak in Halton

It's a lovely welcoming pub. It's always been friendly, good food and drink and not too expensive. A really nice atmosphere for all ages

Me and my 2 sisters went for lunch today our regular haunt when they come to see me. We as usually throughly enjoyed our meal and absolutely love the new menu. The staff are so lovely especially our waitress Leanne she was so helpful cheerful such a lovely woman ....well done 4 Topped Oaks for such a relaxing experience and wonderful food.

Had our tea here last night. Ordered mains and starter sides. Food was lovely, though slightly cold when it arrived. They were short staffed, but still very welcoming and friendly.. Nice place to eat and have a few drinks.

First time I have been to this place, very nice and the food was good and friendly staff. Would go again and would recommend it to other people.

Nice food, if not piping hot. Three young staff coped very well with a busy pub, serving drinks and meals.

The food was excellent, however we ordered at 7.17pm and it arrived at 9pm, there were 7 of us on table 37. Despite telling the Manager we were not happy it didn't appear to make a difference.The actual staff were lovely, running around constantly, and eventually came over to apologise to us. Maybe the Manager should learn a few lessons from his staff about work ethics and help clear the tables and help the staff more.

Just been in today (Wednesday 26th Jan) my wife went to the bar to order food and drink only to be told that if she ordered "the service was going to be poor because we are too busy....". Needless to say we left along with two other customers who were itold the same thing. This is my local but not any more. It will take a lot to get me back in there and I will be advising my neighbours who eat and drink there regularly to avoid. The girl behind the bar was right though - even though they didn't take our order the service was poor.

Delicious food. Well presented. Good selection on menu. Hot food was served hot.Able to order food on Ember app at your table, however on this occasion we went to the bar, it was easier as there were 8 of us.Friendly helpful and attentive staff

Nice atmosphere with nice food. The staff where great. Family friendly pub. From ordering to us eating was less than 20 mins. We stayed until closing as we was so comfortable we chatted all evening.
