Golden River in Halton

Usually very good, tonight a bit of a disappointment. Called at 16:45, told about an hour for delivery, tonight almost an hour and a half. Ordered Char Sui Chow Mein and Char Sui Fried Rice and received Chicken Chow Mein and Chicken Fried Rice. No price difference but chicken a bit bland compared to Pork.

Lovely food, a little more expensive than our usual take away and smaller portions but defo our second choice

Ordered for delivery used them loads of times as it's a decent chippy hasn't turned up been waiting over 2 hours

Everything i have had from here is delicious from fish and chips to Chinese meals and good service as well

Food usually spot on to be fair. After 30 years of being a regular customer spending ££££ bit disappointed with lack of trust. My wife was 10pence short. There’s no way they’d hand over the food until she went shop next door and got cash back. Quite embarrassing for her. Thanks for the trust we wouldn’t of left the country for 10p. Your loss take our business to Chinese delight Frodsham now 👍

Always thought this was a great chippy been going there for years after tonight waiting over 2 hours 20 min and been told 1hour to 1hour 30 min and ringing up after 2 hours to be told its left and was delayed as customers had walked in to order so would delay my order and when arrived the driver said then where only just doing it as I rang up after 2 hours what a joke and they lie to there customers stay clear go else where

Possibly the best Chinese in Runcorn. Accepts cash only. Does deliver but as they are so busy it might be best just to pick up. Tasty hot food and great service.

Ordered dinner took an hour and a half to arrive, which when you order chips sausage and gravy 2 savorys and portion of chips is just rediculous, the fact the sausage chips and gravy was minus a sausage and the pprtion of chips were stone cold be going elsewere which is a shame cause nornally a nice chippy but this is now the second order in a row thats been not upto scratch. Sort it out.

After my first visit last week 10/17 the food was great and the staff very nice. I WILL BE BACK to sample more of the menu in the future .
