Staff are super helpful: I went to buy some trousers. There was one person in front of me to pay and return an item. As soon as the staff saw it was taking a bit longer than expected they opened a second till just for me. That's what I call service!

I visited M&S Widnes for a bra fitting. The lovely lady who dealt with me, Julia, was brilliant. She gave excellent service and advice - which means I now have bras that ACTUALLY fit me instead of torturing me. Great thanks.

Men's section has been reduced, was quite small anyway but it's been decimated now to make way for bigger gift and cafe section. More of a woman's only shop now serving fast fashion and cake.

Mark's & Spencer's has always been renowned for high quality goods and I have made numerous visits to my local store in widnes. Upon my most recent visit u received exceptional customer service from a lady in the clothing section. She took the time to try and locate the item I required and although it wasnt in stock she then proceeded to order it for me and gave precise instructions for which I was very grateful. The store was very busy and it was nice to see that the staff there still value customer service.

Called into m & s widnes this morning to go into the food hall. Ni where were there any signs to zay there was a limit on customers using food hall.A very small sign stated Christmas food this way, as i was not shoooing for Christmas food i November i follwed a woman into the food hall. I was spoken to vey abruptly by a member of staff tell me it was the exit and to follow the sign. Which i did, she then shouted at me, in front of other people you have to que i have enough people in the store. Her manner was so disrespectful and i was very upset, so i turned round and walked out. I should have asked to see the manager and reported her. There was no need for her bad attitude. I am still uoset at her attitude to me

The problem with m@s the clothes are very bland to look at, if your above retirement age there might be some appeal to you .there are still bargains to have for instance I purchased a lovely jumper last week. If ladies need lingerie that fine. .this probably why the store isn't doing very well.the designer's need get there heads together. But the food is all ways great quality, this maybe the route to take?

I ordered a food collection from here and it was an absolute shambles. No one knew what was going on, they were literally falling over each other among crates that seemed to contain everything but my order. Ended up having to get a refund on some of the items because they weren't there, which wasn't ideal 🙈

I do like M+S, there size L are a really good fit for me as I'm short and have a little bit of a stomach. I did buy a winter coat and some t-shirts and I'm more than happy with the coat, the guy behind the counter was very pleasant along with the other staff.I would go back to M+S time and time again. It did have a good hall and café and there's loads of parking but the car park was busy.
