Papa's in Halton

Ordered pizza at around 07:55 and had to cancel at 09:35 as we were still waiting. Then asked if we do not want the food? first time ordering here as we usually use dominos … will definitely not try again.

Very Slow DeliveryOrdered 2 pizzas from Runcorn Papa John's at 17:09 on Friday July 1st for home delivery.At 18:45 our order had not arrived so called the kitchen to be told the driver had left the kitchen 7 minutes earlier.25 minutes later our order finally arrived.OVER 2 HOURS totally unacceptable.The pizza was luke warm and had the consistency of dry card board.Was this worth 38 quid, not hardly.I will never order anything from Papa Johns again.Appalling service and the quality of the food was horrible.

Very stingey with toppings even with the tomato base, might differ from who makes the pizza but that's my experience, quick delivery and hot though

Lovely pizza , couldn't possibly be any better , as I've been a fair few pizza places over the years this one is by far one of the best

Had a change from donimos. Got the BBQ Chicken classic XXL. It was massive! Had loads of chicken on it and was loaded with cheese. Well worth a tenner. Will be sticking with papa John's from now on.

Ordered from here a few times, sometimes get the toppings wrong, ice cream was missing from one order, been waiting 4 hours now after they said they've misplaced our order. Won't be ordering from here again

Ordered pizza, was given a delivery time which had overshot by 40 mins. Rang resturant which told me a driver had gone home sick. They should be ringing the customer to explain this but never bothered so I requested a refund.Poor service

Never once had an issue with the delivery it's always fast, the food quality has always been perfect but I rated it 4 stars and not 5 because the chocolate on the deserts has changed there's just something not right, I always order 1-2 deserts and every time a chocolate pizza but the last 2 times I've ordered them something tastes off, it tastes a bit like poison... like someone's cleaned the oven and then cooked straight afterwards.So get the deserts sorted out and it's a 5 star for me, oh and the offers are superb

Normally use Dominos - consistently deliver quickly and hot. Thought I’d try something different, really regretted it. Ordered at 20:10 on a Wednesday night, still no food by 21:45 and having to chase. Ended up cancelling my order. Apparently limited delivery drivers, but it seems to be a theme looking at the reviews and isn’t an issue at their competitors.

Ordered over the phone because the website was off its head. It was instantly noticed that the staff on the phone was new and young but still very polite and we got there in the end.The food was nice and hot and arrived within 30 mins.Although I liked it I still feel its fell short of its reputation. I guess it will improve over the next few weeks.
