Last visit raised my opinion of this bar, I recieved a very warm welcome from young bar staff Shania, who presented a front of house attitude that I have not seen in many years.This simple thing made a corporate business feel more like the old days of being in my local, I will be back

Took my Sister for her Birthday LunchTreated her to the Gourmet Sirloin Steak with Peas Mushroom Tomato And a Glass of Red Merlot for my Sister & White Pinot Grigio for me.Refillable mugs of Latte and Cappochino To finish.We would like to mention a member of Staff who made our Birthday Lunch Extra Special....* Jennifer *Who was most Informative on Meal Choices and Attentive making sure we were happy with our meals and drinks. She is an absolute credit to the Wetherspoons *Ferry Boat * Staff.

Asked for a bottle of Elvis Juice ale with please and the manager retorted " please would be nice"I replied that I did say please and she then subsequently gave me a wine glass for my Elvis Juice drink. Unbelievable!!! Tim Martin if this is the answer to your criteria of yourself and your management then alas your game is up Sir.

Absolutely lovely evening tonight we took our grandson (5) to the pub tonight the lady who served us Emma was amazing she cleaned the table took our order and chatted to issac to make him feel at home, thank you lovely we will be back again it's nice to know that some servers understand children 😀

Me and a group of friends went here for a social meetup, to say the service was good is an overstatement. Some of the bar staff were abrupt while the manager was caring and empathetic to our concerns regarding the food. The food itself wasn't particularly appetising to say the least. If you're unable to meet the expectations of the customers, then some of the staff are unfit to work there.

Main food wasn't available. What was ordered wasn't great. Seating area looked run down. Used to enjoy eating and drinking here.

Great local pub, good atmosphere, fantastic staff, Shania, what a fabulous host, cheerful, helpful and always invites you in with a warm welcome and a smile, always has time for the punters, nothing is to much trouble, also I would like to give a shout out to Jade, yet another top hostess, keep up the great work Wetherspoons, it's been tough for everyone but you guys have pulled it out of the bag, a huge 👍👏 from me.
