The Gingerbread Tea House in Halton

Took mum out for the first time since lockdown for tea and a scone (her favourite). She's in a wheelchair and, though the place is quite small, everyone was very kind and accommodating. Had the cheesy bacon burger - highly recommended!

Lovely wee place. Staff friendly and helpful. Food was great. Will go again If back in the area again, in the future. Local friends loved it and they will be back again.

Food was lovely , the younger server was so nice and helpful was always keeping herself busy would definitely come back

Come here most Saturdays to have brunch with my Mum and the food is always lovely. Staff are excellent.

We've been visiting The Gingerbread since it opened and won't go anywhere else!Nic's food is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. I'm picky, only like my bacon and eggs cooked a certain way and Nic has never let me down.Will be visiting again real soon.

Excellent, had a lighter breakfast and it was gorgeous. One of the nicest breakfasts I have had in a long time. The staff were so nice and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely go again, and would definitely recommend this hidden gem.

Omg THEE most delicious Mothers Day Afternoon Tea experience I have ever had in my life. Couldn’t believe how much food we got for the price we paid! and unlimited tea aswell! Amazing! We were so full we literally could not move afterwards! My mum was made up. A big thank you to all the staff who were so lovely as usual. I knew you wouldn’t let me down 💕 absolutely outstanding food and service. I stumbled upon Gingerbread by accident after a shocking experience elsewhere... this is by far the best Tea Room in Widnes and seriously deserves much more recognition. Would not go anywhere else. Everytime we have visited the food has been spot on. Delicious and freshly cooked. Eggs Benedict is also to die for. Thank you for making our day so special.
