Absolutely dead no matter what day of the week. The mixers are from a bottle and flat and the DJ plays nothing but music from 2006-2013. Not bad if you can't remember what year it is and like avoiding people.

Visited Saturday afternoon for food only. Pub was dead and the bar lady was miserable. Ordered 2 full breakfasts. 'Waiter' brought food to us but couldn't carry 2 plates at the same time?? Miserable young bloke. Food was disgusting, left most of it. Toilets had no water or soap! Plus you'd expect a cuppa as part of the deal. ÂŁ15 wasted. Would have voted zero stars if possible!!!! Won't be visiting again..

So I saw a woman threatening a guy with a broken bottle within a minute of entering the building. Child under 16 in there until at least midnight. I think it was the pubs Christmas party. Terrible terrible music, stuff I hated 20 or 30 years ago still be played. This is on a Monday night. Loads of other disturbing things going on. Reminds me why I haven't drunk in Widnes for a decade.

Came here a few weeks ago. Only had two working taps and it was cash only. Only 5 people in there and the music was at an unreasonable volume for the time. Wish I hadn't bothered

Had a great time at the Imperial.had a lovely meal, also the owner Kev. Was absolutely fantastic he gave me a Elvis clock. Went to see my Elvis nephew Andy Reno. They really looked after me. Thank you so much Kev for everything.

Fantastic night here… we had some great banter with the owner or the owners step son… it was a cracking time after lockdown! Such a laugh and would recommend !!Only thing that was sad was no food was being served!! But we bought drinks and it’s was fine!

Had an absolutely fantastic breakfast in the imp today, the hash browns were bloody gorgeous, and the food has always been top notch. Well worth a visit

Awful, asked for a smoothie and as they had run out I ordered a pepsi max instead, my drink tasted and smelt funny so I asked for a lemonade instead. I was told it was their own brand cola and since I had already payed I would have to pay to have lemonade instead, despite being given a drink I didn't ask for. Found a hair cooked into my fish and chips, would have asked for a refund on that too if staff weren't so dismissive about my drink. Shame as the fish was really nice, chips tasted awful however.

Always an excellent well cooked all day breakfast, I think the toast could be thicker and the tea or coffee served with it before 12 could be a bit bigger.. But all in all a reasonable price for an excellent English breakfast. Staff are always pleasent and when I go it's usually quite quiet (around 11).
