The Red Lion Inn in Halton

Just popped in for a bit of refreshment and was pleasantly surprised, great outdoor eating area and also a beer garden. Extensive menu and good selection of beers. Wheelchair accessible and dog friendly, quiet when I was there but can be busy

Was just calling in for a pint and a bit of social interaction, when I bought the pint I was told to drink it outside as I wasn't part of the party who apparently had exclusive use of the whole pub premises!!!!!! Couldn't believe I, a member of the public, Couldn't use the facilities, I.e. table and chair. One to be avoided by me anyway.

Incredibly disappointed with this Village pub, service was friendly but the food was inedible. We booked for a great Irish afternoon meal, with live music and great Irish atmosphere. We got music from a play list, that would have been OK, only we could hardly ear it and when we ask to turn it up the staff didn't know how too.I should have looked at other views on this establishment, drive passed this one there are plenty of lovely places close by.

We went for mother's Day, booked for a meal and after 20 mins we had to order drinks at the bar because no-one took our drinks order. Another 40 mins later our food order was taken. Then we were told there would be a 40 wait for food. It was 2 hrs and we had to ask about our food. It is on the way. To be fare they offered us a free round of drinks. Thank you.The mother's of the party where a bit upset and where looking forward to a nice meal on their special day of appreciation. They are now disappointed.We eventually ate our meal.Everyone said it was nice to finally eat but it could of been better and were a little disappointed to say the least.Would we book again, well not for a good while at least. Not to dismiss the red lion off completely. But we would have to think about it.I appreciate that things do go wrong but mother's Day is know about in advance and can be planned for.☹️ The staff tried there best.

My husband and I had an amazing steak. Nice and relaxing place. Service was top notch. Will definitely come back. We thoroughly enjoyed it there

Just popped up for a cuple of dirnks for mothers day with mum and nan. Pub not very busy we asked for a bowl of chips and was told no as the are fully booked for mothers they can not accommodate 1 bowl of chips the put was not even half full and thr kitchen staff can not cope what are you paying them for!!

Not vest pleased highly recommended in canal boat book but when we arrived they had no food only booked tables due to a busy dayA bowl chips would have been nice and got our businessMay be ring before goingBut I don't think I will use it again plenty more pubsfor canal boats to use

Me my nan and family went here today and the food was amazing the potions were really good and the turkey roast was amazing I would definitely recommend to others and the chocolate brownie was out of the world decent price for what you get the staff were really nice and always smiling definitely want to come again the obeisance was great and the music was amazing the place is great and clean wonderful service and we didn't have to wait for anything. Even after we finished all are food the staff were still helpful and made sure everything was okay. 👍🏼

What a fantastic pub the Red Lion Moore is!We visited booking a table of 15 for a family get together. We were given a private room with first class service and food.The staff couldn't have been more professional and considerate towards the 6 children some crawling around under there feet. This added to the great home from home feeling this pub offers.With a menu that caters for all dietary requirements it is a great place to meet up.If you local or passing through i would highly recommend a visit!Thank you all Red Lion Staff we will be back!

Six of us have been the red lion this afternoon and the food was georgous, all clean plates apart from me mum who doesn’t eat much now she 81, waiting on staff were all brilliant as well, would definitely recommend you won’t be dissapointed. Well done everyone.sorry we didn’t take any photos x
