Great atmosphere really friendly staff and the food was good value for the money

Booked a table for 4-30 was told we could have it till 6-30. Enjoyed a nice starter a lovely dinner was brought dessert menu then asked to move tables as our table was needed so at 6-oclock we decided to leave no dessert was really disappointed

Sunday Dinner, ordered several times. On time, absolutely delicious. Good variety of veg and meat was tender. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely afternoon tea. Staff were attentive, sandwiches and cakes were delicious freshly made with good quality fillings. Pots of tea also good quality. Great value for money. Will definitely return. Excellent surroundings. Welcoming.

Breakfast was very tasteful. Everything cooked perfectly nothing bad to say about it. Service was fast and polite. Would highly recommend!

I have dined here several times recently and found both the food and service to be consistently good. Worthy of a visit but don't tell everyone, book ahead.

Recentley celebrated my sons 30th here. What a fantastic night! We hired a room. The staff were amazing. Looked after us all night. Nothing was too much trouble. A special shout out for Amy who was a star. Thankyou so much for making our night so special. Food delicious too. Will definitely be back. 😍👍

Shockingly bad meal.Forced to select from a reduced menu as there were 14 of us.Vegetable curry was literally a bowl of the vegetables being served with mains, with the addition of a spoonful of chopped tomatoes and a sprinkling of curry powder.I didn't make a fuss at the time as we were there for a child's birthday and I didn't want to spoil anything for them, however I have been extremely vocal to everyone I know imploring them to avoid this establishment

After living in widnes for 8 years I can't believe we've never tried here before. I presumed it was going to be same old standard pub good but actually it was very good. We had scallops for starters followed by beef fillet kebabs. The food was home cooked and very good value. Would definitely recommend
