Not been in for years but one of the best Ive been in for quality, quantity and value for money.

Ordered a take away last night of fish chips mushy peas and curry. The chips were dry, the mushy peas, well, there were no peas it was pea water and the fish was dry. My first takeaway with widnes eats, it will be my last

Always great food, greats service at great prices

Just tried to eat a rice meal I purchased from Paul’s Chippy, it was so full of salt I felt ill after the first mouth full, it actually burnt my throat. This is the first time in 20 years of eating food from Paul’s that I have ever had a complaint as usually very good. The food was inedible so went straight into the bin. I think the cook knew he had made a mistake as he hadn’t used any soy sauce the rice was white not the usual colour. Please not so heavy handed with the salt next time!

Ordered on line. Chaos when I went to pick it up. Not up to usual standards to be honest. Hardly any salad. Put chilli sauce on even though I had requested it separately in a pot.

After years of getting our local takeaway from Cronton Fish Bar 2, so glad that we found Paul's. Not only is the food better quality, but you get better service (by a long way) and better prices. The website and ordering system is also a lot better, along with the choice (being able to order small and large portions, for example). If you live in Widnes, get your chippy meals from here. For us, it's well worth the extra drive.
