Widnes Tea for Two in Halton

I had the Tuna and Sweetcorn Sandwich served with a small side salad and a few crisps and a pot of tea for one and it was lovely. The staff are very happy and friendly.

We had an afternoon here today it was so lovely , thank you so much for making us feel welcome. Asking before hand what we like / dont like, everything was fab. Plenty of goodies to eat or home. Please try if your looking for afternoon tea. We will definitely be back .

A lovely little place run by two delightful ladies. Cake was perfect and the baby was like a cat with the milk.

Fabulous service as always. Food is excellent. We had a luxury picnic afternoon tea and also a kids afternoon tea too. We painted pottery upstairs.

The 'Tea for Two' is under new ownership since the last time I visited it, albeit since last year, as far as I can see it's been refurbished and looks very fresh and clean inside, due to me calling in with my friend about 15 minutes before closing time we didn't have enough time to order any food from the new menu, but we did enjoy our cups of peppermint and traditional tea; at the time of writing, they no longer play the old 60's to eighties music as the music was played on a radio. Next time I visit I'll make sure I come in plenty of time to order something on the menu to try out some food to eat with my drink. :)

Friends hosted my baby shower here. Fab afternoon, very accommodating and delicious afternoon tea. Will be returning just for the cake and would defiantly recommend!
