The Black Horse is a PUB,isn't it????I hadn't been in for a while so just went in for a PIE & PINT. I was looked at askance as I was told it was a TEMPERANCE BAR.🐑 🐏 🐑 rather sheepishly I asked what they served and ended up with 🍄 🍄 mushroom and steak PIE + Cappuccino.Excellent, I REALLY enjoyed it.

We'd been shopping and found this place hidden in plain sight. Just fancied some lunch and a drink of something hot and this ticked both boxes. The food was excellent. We decided against an evening meal that night as we were still full from lunch. My burger was great and my wife's steak, mushroom and blue cheese ciabatta looked beautiful (as long as you're not a vegan). I'd have that next time. And the burger again the time after that. I'd have to try the rest if the menu sometime though.

Enjoy the coffee made with more care than the nationwide coffee shops. Loved the cakes and scones plus what a great value quality cooked full English breakfast. Big thanks

Best black pudding I've had in years. You might be able to buy a full English cheaper, but not at this quality.

Went here for breakfasts. Both vegetarian. Amazing quality food. Very tasty and very reasonably priced. Fab poached eggs too!
