Dog & Otter in Hyndburn

Really enjoyed my visit to the dog and otter. Lovely little lass behind the bar called molly served me. Very polite and great craic. Made me feel very welcomed and happy to give my custom to such a great local pub. Will visit again and highly recommend 👍🏼

Excellent service at a very good price. Food potions are great for people with smaller appetites. Value for money. But if you are young and want a plate full you could be disappointed.

Had an amazing night last night for my friends birthday, a warm & friendly place, with lovely efficient staff & the food was exceptional, Well done Josh Hill (chef) you did us proud! Looking forward to Saturday night & Sunday for another delicious meal 👍😁

My local in town. Amazing atmosphere. Landlord and lady are proper welcoming on the first time i visited and every single time since. Nice and warming. Big tv screen for sports and all sorts. Food is great. You will be looked after here. They even listen to what customers think and act upon it. They put my favourite beer on tap within a week of mentioning it. Love it here

As someone who's ex-industry (Pre-Covid), can't fault my experience today, firm 10/10.Service absolutely great, and nothing too much trouble. Food flavoursome and cooked to perfection, good food always makes it worth the wait. Props to both (Alastair and forgot the other name, so sorry)- you've made our day. Definitely got some new regulars!It's not just about the food, but the overall experience!

Great food, good portion sizes, very fair prices and friendly service. Only reason I’ve not given 5 stars is due to the long wait for the food to arrive but other than that; faultless.

Having heard there were new landlords we decided to go and try it out. We weren't disappointed. We had a lovely meal which was well cooked and presented, my steak was cooked perfectly, my husband had the fish & chips and the fish was massive. The sticky toffee pudding was yummy! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pub itself had a nice homely feel with an eating area at one end and a bar at the other which had a lovely open fire. An added benefit to the night was a singer who turned out to be the landlord! He had everybody singing and up dancing by the end of the night, brilliant night. We would definitely go again.

Having not been in this pub/restaurant for a number of years my husband and decided to try it out. We were delighted to see it had undergone refurbishment creating a light and airy ambience. There were lots of tables to choose from. The food was freshly cooked and very tasty. The landlady was very welcoming and helpful!I would be happy to recommend.
