Well where do I start. The only brewery in Accrington yet they haven't joined the modern trend and tried the exciting hops of New England.On my Christmas Eve visit I tried the festive brew ' Snowball. Two sips was enough. It tasted of very sweet cold tea and as a result was duly returned and a Hoogarten ordered. To have a brewery on my doorstep is a definite plus but PLEASE try a few tweaks and get into modern brewing and challenge Cloudwater, Farm Yard Ales, Vocation, Northern Monk to name but a few. As for Snowball. Well the less said, the better.

A modernised pub with fantastic Italian stoned baked pizzas, great mixture of craft beers, ales, ciders and gin selection. The flavoured ciders are like fruit juice so very more-ish.The pub even has its very own brewery which is worth trying out and they can host events upstairs too.The staff are really friendly and efficient.There's plenty of free on street parking.I'd definitely recommend popping in whether you're passing by for a drink or for food.
