Great food and service as always. Staff always feel like they are happy to serve you and nothing is too much trouble. The chilli is amazing as always and the jacket potatoes are large with plenty of filling.Great place by the river opposite the church, just mind the Jackdaws if you're sitting outside. Great place to eat no matter the weather.

Nice place for breakfast or lunch. Sitting next to river, beautiful. Very soft toast and bacon baked to the perfection.Definitely recommend

Great location and excellent service, however, felt the prices of the sandwiches were far too steep. The sandwich was nothing special for £7. Other customers food looked better value. Enjoyed sitting outside under the heaters watching the river flow by.

Stopped here for a mid afternoon snack and were really glad that we did. It was a busy Monday, but the service was spot on and the food great. Between us we had a scone with jam and clotted cream, egg mayonnaise sandwich, Toblerone cake, coffee and peppermint tea - all delicious. Highly recommended

A nice restaurant amidst a serene place. Very nice food. Lunch menu is quite spread out for a small town eatery.Very courteous and attentive staff.If you ever pass this town, take a break just to try their tasty meal or a hot drink.

Lovely staff and location of cafe over looking the river. Would love to see more vegetarian and vegan options! Only vegan option is baked beans and limited vegetarian menu. It would be great to see things like a vegetarian version of the chilli or a meat/cheese alternative

Nice little cafe with a great riverside terrace. We opted to sit inside the spacious and airy dining area to stay warm but the terrace was still busy and I can imagine is an amazing place to stop for lunch in the nice weather.We were greeted quickly at the door and chose our table. After ordering at the counter the drinks were with us in a matter on minutes. The food followed shortly afterwards. The panini and sandwich were great and the cup of homemade chilli I had in the side was really tasty.

Wow!!! What an amazing reception received from these workers. Such a loving and warm place. The owner is just a such a nice person. Genuinely interested in your day and alway smiling. This place does amazing Cumberland sausage sandwiches on white bread with brown sauce. Keep doing what your doing mate. I will bring all my customers to you in the future.

The view was worth it all! Such a warm and cosy environment. We ordered the ginger cake, this tasted good but could've been more fresh. Cannot wait to visit this place again and try out new food/drink from the menu.

Nice little place to grab a hot drink or bite to eat. Has a mixture of sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes and some sweet foods. Nice little outdoor seating area too with views of the stream. They also sell some beers.
