Amazing food from an amazing menu. Staff are so friendly and accommodating

The food was “ok”. The waiting time from ordering to serving was OVER AN HOUR!!! Also people that arrived AFTER us got their food BEFORE us!!!The place was busy BUT understaffed. The BIG POSITIVE was the “waiting on” staff, they were EXCELLENT!! However they were WELL overworked because they were having to do TOO MUCH!! Big praise to the bar staff and the waiting on staff …. BIG NEGATIVE to the owners, the management AND chef!! Won’t be returning sorry to say.

Really nice pub, safe parking, very nice food and good service. Happily return or recommend.

Place has gone down hill since new management. During our recent visit, we spent over 2 hours at the pub due to poor service and very long waiting times between courses. The portion sizes were rather small, yet expensiveand you'll be expected to ask the waiter for your own cutlery (after you explain cutlery means knife and fork). Finally, the £6 brownie was nothing more than a sponge cake warmed up in a microwave. Wouldn't visit again.

Rude staff!! We waited over 15 minutes for our drinks, my wife went to the bar to ask where our drinks were the 3 staff stood at the bar chatting to each other made eye contact with her then continued to ignore her. The place could do with a good deep clean as the seating was stained and way to low for the height of the table. As for the over priced food we didn't get to try it as we left!!

Amazing food. We ordered 2 fillet and blue cheese sandwiches with a moretti and a wine. The food was sublime, the waiting staff were very friendly. If anything, the food is under priced for the quality and amount provided. A must go if you're in the area.

Superbly prepared and presented dishes from a varied menu. Also, competitively priced for the standard of food. Service a little slow during a busy Friday lunchtime period - maybe marginally understaffed. Similarly, comparatively small car park, making parking difficult at a busy time. Definitely recommended and destination added to my preferred places.

Lovely place to eat and a drink, food was very good although no soup on the menu and a couple of things we asked for weren't available, pleasant staff and overall a very nice place to eat. Would recommend and definately go back.
