Been here 3 times now and finally managed to get hold of a Sunday roast. Not surprised they are so popular. Very yummy and finished every last bit. Deeeelicious 😋😝😋

Popped in without booking at 2.15 hoping for Sunday lunch for 2. No problem waited about 40 minutes but there were larger groups dining. Well presented roast topside with whole steamed carrots and green beans, mash and roasted potato's traditional large Yorkshire pudding and generous portion of meat. We had to ask for condiments which were plentiful. My only concern was the Yorkshire was reheated which made it a little crispier than we'd like. Staff were very organised and hardworking and a team to be proud of. Drinks were on point x

I've been here a couple of times over the years but more recently I've been twice in the last few weeks. I haven't been disappointed. The menu is a smaller menu and due to it being a winter menu there isnt a choice to have a salad which my friend was fancying. You HAVE to try the homemade chips, they can only be described like a cross between a chunky chip/wedge and a roast potato, hand down the best chips I've had in a long time. I was gutted that I didn't realise you can swap the fries that come with the burgers for these. The puddings are also really tasty. There is a lovely seating area in the front for when it's sunny and the inside it nice and spacious and plenty of seating.I will definitely be back again.

Called in for a Friday lunchtime drink and snack. Car park was quite full... Must have been a few sitting inside because all outside tables were fun. Lovely sat in the sun. Had cheese and onion panini which came with chips. And a portion of onion rings which was substantial in size. We shared.... More than enough for a lunchtime

A quick check of the toilets on entry as you can tell a lot about a place on the condition of the facilities and they were spotless as was the rest of the pub. There were 5 adults and a newborn in our party and we all ordered food and we all thoroughly enjoyed it, I had the pan-fried Sea Bass on a bed of potato stew which was amazing. They have an excellent selection of drinks on offer, I partook in a couple of pints Moorhouses which was spot on.Finally big shout to the staff who were all wonderful and a credit to the business.Highly recommended

We reserved a table for 7, the table was laid out and ready for our arrival. The staff where really friendly and professional. We had a bit of a wait for the food to arrive but the restaurant was really busy so we understood the slight delay the staff took this on the chin and knocked a couple of drinks off the final bill which was a bonus. All the food was really good and made to a quality standard as we had a mixture of steaks Sunday roasts and pizza's. Overall we had a really nice meal no complaints from us and will be visiting again soon.

Just took the kids in for tea, great place. Good menu with a wide variety of family favourites on. Really impressed with the quality and value for money, and the atmosphere was comfortable and cosy. I had a homemade pizza it was lovely my wife had the cheese burger which was really good quality meat. The portion sizes were very generous and very reasonably priced by today's standards. We will definitely be going back.

Used to be really good so we decided to go for a meal tonight. Looks as if it's changed hands as it's nothing like meals we have had there before. Very small and basic menu, steak ordered rare came closer to Well done and everything else average at best. Staff ok but no better. Real shame as it used to be excellent and one of our favorites
