The Commercial Hotel in Hyndburn

Good service and good food apart from waitress telling me to get my own sauce as she was too busy... I know it was full of football fans and was busy but a simple.. "all sauces are there please help yourself" would of been better

Lovely food, lovely atmosphere without being rowdy and pleasant comfy decor. Service was quick and very friendly. I don't live locally, about 20 minutes drive away, but it's worth the travel.

Food and drinks served relatively quickly , however food preparation is pretty average. Steak to be fair tasted pretty good but there seems to be inconsistent quality on pizza/garlic breads.The pizza had a under cooked base and the Garlic bread had a closer resemblance to a burnt edge oversized crisp.Servers were a little over keen to check if everything was OK, before we had chance to actually taste food , and after we realised the pizza wasn't particularly great we were told it they could make a fresh one but as its just cooked against timer there was good chance on replacement being the same so we declined.Just feels like a little extra care and attention to food finishing would make massive difference

Classic layout with toilet upstairs and lots of varies seating options. Food fast and well made and staff friendly. Regularly go for a quick meal out or catch up with friends.

Usual Wethersppons fare, good ale selection,keenly priced and warm friendly atmosphere. Just a hike to the toilets, grappling hooks and oxygen needed unless your a professional athlete

This is a nicely positioned pub near the town's bus station and is relatively quiet, while it has added fantastic Christmas decorations for the season. My employee discount was easily usable here and the staff were kind, giving me a lime for my Corona Extra when I requested one. The drink itself was really good and the table was fine, having been kept totally clean.

been here a few times and the breakfast has been very good. this time they had ran out of beans the toast was rock hard and the bacon was very dry. got an extra hash brown but they were dry as well. had to get a pepsi to wash it down with.

Always a great place to grab a breakfast when you've just travelled 4 hours.

Nice pub. Food was tasty. Table was clean. Nice atmosphere. We entered the pub and sat down ordering table service without being greeted or acknowledged by staff. We waited 20 minutes to get our drinks to then be told they were very busy even though the pub was not full (assuming they were short staffed). Food followed 10 minutes afterwards. Staff were friendly and apologetic. Would be rated higher if service was quicker.
