The service and food has gone downhill. Waited ages to get our food and the plates were sitting under the heat lamps for nearly 10minutes. Then the steak was half uncooked and half cooked and cold. I didn’t eat it. Then ordered desert that again took ages to be served and it was frozen! I won’t be going back and it’s such a shame as have been going there for years. There are better options to go to that have bigger portions, better service and better quality of food.

Lovely staff and food. Has definitely upgraded since past visits as the food was much better than past times I have been - pre covid. Staff are wonderful and accommodating.

Ordered an 8oz steak, 3oz of it was fat!!!! Salmon was burnt and the steak n ale pie came with no veg because they ran out. Absolutely awful value for money, no of us finished our meal due to the poor standard of it.

Booked for 2.15 on Mothers Day. Got meal at 3 40 ! Meal was cold and items missing. We were placed into a side room away from everybody else. Usually ok this place but they had completely oversold it. Unlikely to go back.

Food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) is fantastic and the staff are very helpful, friendly and personable. They really do try and make sure you have a great experience. They are great at accomodating families.lots of parking available and there is an outdoor area, though it isn't fenced all the way around so have to watch little ones if you sit outside.It's very clean.Can't wait to go back!

I want to start this review by saying I couldn't recommend this place more. Lovely service and very nice decor and feel to the place. The food was delicious, the staff were the friendliest and so professional!!We originally both ordered the chicken burger, unfortunately it came out quite black and burned although the chicken inside was cooked perfectly. I brought this to the attention of our server and they returned it to the kitchen. 5 mins or so later the floor manager came over to inform us that the chicken burgers had been prepped incorrectly and to share his deepest apologies that they could no longer serve us chicken burgers.Instead we opted to substitute our order with the beef burgers, not much time later we were served with two very delicious double beef burgers, fries and coleslaw. All perfection and very tasty! The sauces are their very own brand and they taste spectacular.Upon paying the bill the floor manager informed me he had knocked the price of a burger off to apologies for the delay in service andbeing unable to provide the chicken burgers. I had to decline and ask that he add it back on as a tip, I couldn't in right mind take a discount for that level of service and quality of food.This is the level of service restaurants aspire to, we'll definitely be back again, and hopefully next time we can have the chicken burgers, I bet they're delicious!Lastly, the speed of service is fantastic, from walking in the front door, all of the above happening and then leaving to catch our cinema film, we were only there for about 70 minutes max!Thank you Packet Steamer staff, you're wonderful!

Haven't visited for a long while. Has changed a little internally but the staff are just as friendly & efficient as I remember. Plenty of space. Prices are reasonable & the menu choice isn't too restrictive.

Had an amazing meal, portion sizes were great couldn't finish what we'd been given, excellent value for money! Staff were warm and welcoming and Cheryl who was looking after us was great, so positive instantly made you feel better, atmosphere was quiet as we'd got there not long after opening time, really cosy place. Only issue I had was when I went to the men's toilet the cubicle was a mess of course I can't really blame the business for this as it was a customer who had left it like that, I couldn't take a star off for that tho as everything else was perfect! Will definitely be returning.
