Crofters Arms in Knowsley

Went Crofters 1st time tonight let's say I won't be going back bad service loads food not available and cocktails absolutely disgraceful, food going to wrong tables!! Short staffed booked for 5pm said cant order food for half hour! Well why let u book table for 5pm? Poor!! Microwave food Gordon Ramsay would have a shock eating here!!!

Really friendly staff and good food. Good atmosphere.

Very nice pub nice food. Looks like it had recently been upgraded but they appear to have forgotten the toilets. The gents were disgusting. Scruffy, missing tiles, bulbs out, cubicles blocked off. Also as we left at 6.30 there was a notice saying the restaurant was fully booked, even though half the tables were empty. What do they mean "restaurant", its a pub.

strange to say that even an 30-45minute wait for food was alright at this pub, they only had one chef doing the food in the evening, and a very nice lady serving you out front explaining about the wait and why, she bent over backwards to help people and keep them happy, a credit to the pub but most likely not appreciated by them, if it was not for her we would have left, when the food did arrive it was hot and everyone said how much they enjoyed it, so credit to the chef as well, he must have been so stressed, but the standard of food delivered was still great, if they had a full team on and the waiting time was not as long would have given 5stars.

Looked nice from outside but once you step in, the "Do not verbally abuse staff" signs staring you in the face really tell their own story of how horrendous the localsust be. Who needs to be told not to do that!?!?! 😱Also, we caught covid here.Avoid.

Excellent.. Very clean.. Friendly efficient staff.. Plenty of hand sanitzers.. Decorated nicely would recommend to others

We arrived and ordered our drinks and food within 5 mins of arriving. 15 mins later I walked to the bar to ask if we could have our drinks. They arrived eventually and the waitress asked if we would like to order. We pointed out she had taken our order when we ordered our drinks. She apologised and said it wouldn’t be longWe hung on about 30 mins and decided to get off. We went to settle our drinks bill and where asked what table. When we told them they looked for our table on the system. There was no table order for our table. So it’s safe to say the food order wasn’t placed originally. When it was pointed out we had ordered 45 mins before we where greeted with the old mantra of were short staffed. There was 5 of them in and around the bar area. Since lockdown ended this has gone down which is a pity cos we live going there

Was really busy when we visited, had a few mistakes on the order but management sorted it near instantly so I couldnt complain. I would return, these things happen.

Had a lovely night at the crofters ,10 of us for my daughters birthday. Everybody’s food was tasty and good value for money and there was a great choice on the menu . Service was really friendly and nothing was too much trouble, staff made us feel really welcome . Would definitely go back again and recommend the crofters to friends .

Had a lovely afternoon at the Crofters Arms for my mum's 70th birthday. Staff were very friendly, service was excellent and the food delicious. This is our go-to pub for family birthday meals.
