Flavio's Italian Restaurant in Knowsley

Lost for words, read the reviews and didn’t judge the petrol station / MOT signage.Parking awful3 and half hours for pre ordered foodFood was cheap and nastyReminded me of the grafton with food.It is loud, like really loud, have to shout across the table.Service is awfulThese reviews have to be fake.

Forgot to review, I was recommended this and went with my godmother and family. Terrible. Where are the Italian chefs? Anyone going there, keep in mind I saw a Chinese chef and one looked like he had 5 seconds of experience, when they went outside. I don't know how much people were paid for these good reviews, 3 star hygiene, petrol station quality food, just like the building. They somehow managed to go wrong with a lasagna and the pizza looked like someone threw up basel on it, it screams microwave. That's about a tenth of the bad bits.

Really disappointed. Went to Flavio's expecting to enjoy some authentic Italian food. Unfortunately it was anything but. Our food looked & tasted like it had been purchased from the local supermarket. My party were all vegetarian & there was no indication on the menu which meals would be suitable for us & the waitresses knowledge of the ingredients was very limited- suggesting we pick something & the chef would leave out the meat! My daughter & I thought we would play safe & opted for margarita pizza. We were looking forward to a nice homemade thin based Italian pizza fired in a pizza oven. What we actually got was a thick doughy deep pan one like those sold in the supermarket- clearly not homemade.Other party members ordered pasta meals (minus meat!) & were equally disappointed saying they were flavourless & portions were tiny.Clearly, following this dissapointing experience I will not be returning nor can I recommend Flavio's to anyone who is looking for authentic Italian food.

Sunday lunch on 23rd Jan which was also the 5th anniversary of this gem of a restaurant. We had a warm welcome from the owner and staff, the food was delicious and of generous portions and very reasonably priced. We highly recommend a visit to this great little restaurant.

Food was perfectly cooked to our liking. Staff were friendly and accommodating. They even had a little surprise for my wifes birthday. Easy 5 stars. Thanks Nicky. 😁

Food was delicious. Well done Chef. Don't let the building put you off. Owners may need to do some work to reduce the noise level in the building as it was really loud and spoilt the atmosphere. But definitely a place I will be returning too.

Absolutely loved this friendly little restaurant. My daughter took me out for a birthday meal.The food was delicious and the service was good. It was quite busy but the service was just at the right place for us not to be rushed or waiting too long.

Absolutely thought this place was great, lovely decor.If any goes they have to have the cheesy garlic bread. Omg. One of the best ever tasted and the rest was so nice. You cannot leave until you try the cheese cake. Will be definitely going back. Thanks to the chef and everyone. Great place to go.👍

Don't be put off by the petrol station exterior! The food is very nice and the staff are so friendly. It's quite a small place so you're best booking if you're going at busy times.
