Great local pub who made some Leeds visitors feel very welcome who were staying at the premier inn for the grand National weekend. We even commented that we would come back just to visit this pub. Lots of fun to be had

First time visiting this place and will definitely be back. First off the staff are lovely and made us feel really welcome. I met friends for a meal straight from work and the food was nice. I had a combo chicken thing, the skewer wasn't nice but the chicken strips were lovely and everything else that came with it was really nice. Best fries I've had in a pub meal for a long long time.We went when there was a quiz on so took part in that too and that was really good with a great quizmaster. To top it off.....it's dog friendly which means I can take them next time I go. Very impressed.

It's been a while since I'd been so thought I'd make a return, was disappointed to say the least, as soon as we walked in we were met by what I'm guessing was the local drunk who wouldn't leave the area we were sitting forcing us to move to the opposite side of the pub, finally got settled and then didn't have the drink I'd asked for, the food was okay but for as good as some plates were my lasagne was burnt and couldn't get alot if it off the side of the plate. I can't go lower than 3 stars because the staff are always great, it's still got an amazing outside area for the summer but probably won't return for food anytime soon.

Fabulous service and food. Lovely friendly staff, great atmosphere. Julie made sure all our needs were catered for with a smile.
