Nice pub had breakfast here, breakfast menu choice great, food was good and very reasonable.

Had lunch here with friends. Food is good and very reasonably priced. Nice friendly staff.

Visited here today for our dinner, there were 4 adults and 3 children. There were people arguing, screaming and shouting so upset the children. The table service was disgusting! The waitress plonked the drinks on the table, didn’t ask who’s was what and didn’t tell us we had to go up to pour our own tea just left the cup on the tray. When our food came the waitress had hold of it with a cloth but then passed the plate straight to my sister which resulted in her burning her fingers, luckily it was my sister and not one of the children! All in all a bad experience. 1st and last time we come here!! Would give it 0 stars if I could!

Visited recently midday for quick lunch. As you can expect from a weather spoons food cheap. Git to admit it had stacked double burger .. wow that's filling .. other patrons seemed to be zombiefied just not moving with their 1-1/2 pints.. all sitting on the same side of their tables stirring constantly at nothing.. I am sure they have a home to go to. Would I go again, yes why not.

Took my daughter there today because she hasnt been well .well it a lovely place and was quite busy , unfortunately the food my daughter had wasnt up to much she ordered a wrap , and said it stunk of sweat she asked me to smell it i havnt got much sence of smell but i did and she was right it was disgusting on the way home she nearly vomited so we wont be returning there ever again .

Usual Spoons quality though delivery shortages meant no salt for the meal. Spacious eating area plus small car park as a bonus.

What a lovely place for a treat 😍 my hubby took me for a meal and wow the building itself is beautiful and they have kept the decor in keeping with the age of the building and can't wait to go back when they have their real cowl fire lit so going to make a point of ringing and checking with them. The food was great value and delicious and so much I had to bring some of mine home and they didn't have a couple of things we asked for like peppercorn sauce which for me steak isn't the same without it but that couldn't be helped and the lovely lady who was the manager I think went out of her way to explain all the other options which was lovely of her so yes everyone this place is definitely worth a visit 😁😋😛😜😍😘

There are not many places in Huyton that serve real ale, so hats off to Wetherspoons for hanging in there. For Spoons fans it has all the usual frills, well kept but randomly chosen real ale an excellent and wide range of other drinks, decent pub food without being exceptional, all at below usual market cost. Their fish and chips is the least slimy cod and vaguely crispy chips of all the Spoons around. This one has very little car parking space, but plenty of parking nearby for either a small cost or a small hike.
