Shocking service. Dark haired man who looked as though his hair was reseeding with a poor beard , provided shocking service all night. Also used inappropriate language in front of my 15 year old daughter and she felt very scared and uncomfortable. When she asked for sauce, he responded âyou can have my sauce any time babyâ . Never use this pub again

Excellent service yet again in one of these establishments we just can't fault the staff or the venues

I went in the watch maker Prescot for breakfast after an early hospital appointment. It is the first time I have been in there, I was pleasantly surprised. We had two small breakfasts for under ÂŁ10, which were not very small, and coffee, which was so nice and we were able to fill up as much as we wanted... I will definitely visit again, and they deserve 5 stars

Wouldnât even give it a star!We were recommended by a friend to try this pub as theyâve amazing food and great service. How wrong they were!Half of the menu is out of stock including sauces and even gravy!! The food was absolutely appalling. The portion sizes were 2x smaller than they shouldâve been and the service was awful. The manager didnât have any care about wanting a refund and was blatantly rude! The customers were disrupting our meal as they were drinking and hollering. The utensils were dirty to a point where I had to use my fingers as a knife đĄOverall, wouldnât even recommend anyone to go here!! Absolutely awful.

First visit was in 2020 and that was a good experience. Today was the second time and almost all the " healthy food " is not on the menu anymore.Really a shame. Also the quality of the food is not table worthy.

Walked into a semi busy pub to find an almost empty bar with 3/4 barstaff faffing around possibly sorting table orders, ignored for several minutes & was then joined at the bar by 4/5 punters who all got served before me...Call me naive but i'd expect barstaff in a flagship bar to have a reasonable guess who's next when it's quiet..

The food was spot on. The drinks are always good in Wetherspoons, and so they should be. The customers were another matter - loud and rowdy. After queueing, the barmaid didn't know who was next. When I said "me" an oik of a girl came from behind, slammed her card in the scanner and bought a drink. I ordered 4 drinks and got 3. Then the barmaid went away. I queued again to get the last one.Because the bars are so big in these pubs, could you please organize a system where we all queue from one side? I am sick of not getting served because of rude people who think it's their devine right to jump the queue because they are locals, or 'regulars'.

We visited this wetherspoon on 23rd november, birthday lunch as we have been many times but not for a while. We were shocked, the place is run down and filthy, the mens toilets stairs an seating area needed a good clean, itbwas filthy, ordered the new lemon chicken to try with spicy rice coleslaw chips and side salad, all we got was a greasy mess of chicken, no rice, no coleslaw and no side salad....ive never complained in my life but told the waitress when she eventually cleared plates what i thought, offered us a free dessert which we refused, this was just plain old chicken and chips with a spicy salt on chips...and the fly's were flyin around the table while tryin to eat this, vile meal, all was left on plate, and we will never eat here again.

Had to wait for the drinks ordered until after we had been served the food. Extremely noisy although not the fault of the landlord. Good food.
