Blue Moon Restaurant in Lancaster

You can’t get higher quality Thai food near here than Blue Moon. Really great service too. Only down side was the draft through the entrance. Loved it.Second visit:1.5 hour wait for main. Food was delicious but not sure I would wait again.

They have changed the menu, lots of my favorite dishes are now unavailable 😭 I miss crispy BBQ pork

My favourite restaurant ever. Service is always fanatic and the food is quite simply unbeatable. If you are in Lancaster even for just one day I would say that Blue Moon is the where you should eat. The portion sizes and very good and the sticky rice is phenomenal. The chefs are obviously very talented and as there is glass between the kitchen and restaurant (always a very good sign) you can see how expertly they prepare all the food. Fanatic and well worth a visit.

Lovely restaurant but felt hemmed in and waited quite a while to get served. The food is pricey for the miniscule portions and I mean miniscule. Almost £9.00 for 3 dumplings were the carrot was bigger than the 3 put together. The vegetarian options had run to the minimum even though we booked for 8pm so that left me eating rice and sauce which I had to pay the full price for (very disappointing). However, on a lighter note I must say what food was available was delicious.

Amazing food, drinks and service. Me and my boyfriend spent a really nice night having dinner here. We’re vegetarian, and the options were amazing. Highly recommend.

Hopeful stop for dinner and overjoyed to be given a table... with a window into the kitchen. Watching traditional Thai cuisine being prepared and cooked was a fantastic addition to a beautiful, aromatic meal. We had starters of dumplings and crispy pork skewers, a hot pot main and coconut ice cream. fabulous 👌 Will be back in Lancashire purely to eat here again!

The food here was excellent and the portions, despite the size was excellent. The kitchens were clean and the staff pleasant. The decor and ambiance was serene.

All round excellent experience here - the staff were great and the food came out in good time and tasted very good.Would definitely recommend.

I have walked past this restaurant many times, and I decided to have a try; I ordered a lunch special set No.7, which costs £9.The lunch set came with a piece of duck spring roll, a piece of deep fried prawn and Massaman beef curry with steamed rice.Duck spring roll was not good because the meat smell was too strong.Deep fried prawn was good.Massaman beef curry was terrible. They used sliced beef instead of chunks, so It wasn’t tender and juicy at all. The flavour of the curry was also not good; it seemed to be just instant curry paste and coconut milk. Thus, it was completely different from what I have eaten in Thailand.Service was average.Therefore, I think that the lunch special set is not worthy, and I will definitely not be back again.

One of my favourite places to eat in Lancaster! Fresh, delicious food. The quality is insane for the price. Staff are so attentive. And you HAVE to try the Thai Iced tea! Wow. So sweet and delicious. Cocktails are very tasty but a little pricey. Lunch time deals are reasonable for a big portion at a good price.
