We ordered vegetarian take away from Bombay Balti and I wouldn't really recommend it for vegetarians.Chapatis were not baked properly at all and were as thick as Nans and were made out of white flour instead of wheat flour. Tarka dal was really bland. We ordered vegetable fried rice, but we only got plain fried rice with just onions (we couldn't go back to ask as we were already far from the restaurant)I do not know about non-veg though.

Indian is my favourite type of cousine so I do admit that I could be a bit biased. The three meals ordered were Chilli Masala, Murgh Josh and Chilli Fry. All the dishes contained a lot of exciting flavours. Chilli Masala was so good that I kept reaching for my friend's portion and kept trying it, I returned a week later to have a portion myself. The Murgh Josh perfects the taste of garlic which I personally cannot reproduce at home. Chilli Fry with garlic chicken tikka was the dish I ordered and I was blown away. The garlic naan had the right texture and was also amazing to dip in the large pot of Chilli Masala sauce. The dishes from Chef's Specials section were all around £13 including rice, which is perfectly reasonable as the serving is large enough for two people and the quality of the food definitely lives up to and easily exceeds the price. The friendly staff only complements the experience. I am sad that I haven't discovered this place earlier, but from now on it will be my usual Indian of choice.

Unfortunately my other half was unhappy with the ready made chicken produce they use here. Her Tarka Dal was very disappointing. I didn't think my Madras was so bad but considering her experience then I'll have to just give it 3 stars. The staff are polite but disorganized and haven't the knowledge to give advice. For instance, I wanted two poppadoms to come with my main meal and instead they brought 6 with onions and chutney! I simply didn't ask for that. I think on our next visit to Lancaster we'll definitely give this place a wide birth.

Such a shame this restaurant has gone down hillService is so rubbish not one for ordering take away but when I do I need it rightLast two orders has been wrong and I know it’s only pickles but they make a dish to meI couldn’t belive they got it wrong again after explaining it was wrong when I last orderedDon’t think they are even bothered to be honestNot sure what I think ? Think they have lost passion to make it work

The worst takeaway I have ever had.It arrived 45 mins late. The rice was so overcooked it was soft and bitty. The naan was so undercooked it was inedible. And the chicken tasted so off it made me feel sick to eat.I called the restaurant to complain and the incredibly rude woman told me on the phone that ‘all the food is cooked fresh and that I should have no reason to complain... out of all 20-25 orders they had completed this day I was the first person to say something was wrong...’I was denied a refund as I had already tasted the food and opened to packaging... if someone knows a way of telling food is bad before eating, or even seeing it out of the packaging, it then please let me know!!The woman on the phone ended up going completely silent and would not respond to my questions and comments, I even asked at one point if she was still there. I was not at all rude however I was forced to hang up as all I was getting by the end of the phone call was radio silence.Post phone call, I vomited.Do not waste your money here.

Best recommended place to have Indian cuisine. Nice ambience. Friendly staff. You can find Wide range of varieties in the menu according to your taste preference. Prices are affordable too :)

The customer service was very aggressive and rude, they refused to give us tap water and we were told that we can’t share our food with each other so that they could make more profit. Food was nice but wouldn’t come again as the service just ruins the whole experience.

The food is just okay, not that significantly delicious. As much experience in Indian fine dining, I cannot say your food is delicious as the taste is a little bit adopted for westerners' palate not so authentic. And with the same portion of food, comparing to other takeaway-indian restaurants, you gave us less than an aggregated standard of ingredients and spices which sometimes can considered as a good situation. And the way those telephone boys or receptionists talk on phone cannot be viewed as proper, as they shouted at customers (this is too far from a decent level)
