Always hot fresh and cooked properly, by far the best chippy .

Decent food, but they either didn’t put salt and vinegar on either portion of chips or put so little on that you couldn’t tell it’s there

Battered halloumi is excellent and chip portions huge.

The chippy serves large portions (even the small are large) of good chips cooked in fresh oil we had five fish and chips and a sausage and chips with cartons of mushy peas, gravy and curry sauce it to us a while to work our way through it. It was well worth the visit and we will call again.

Well...there's no denying the fish and chips are very good..probably the best aound but...£25 for two small f&c's, one large with two large mushy peas...(tbh i couldnt tell the difference) and I can't help but feel I've just had my pants pulled down and.....I couldn't even afford the usual sausage for Scurvo.....

The fish was really nice, large portions, was cooked fresh when I ordered, although I think this was because they had just opened I'm not sure.Peas were nice, slight hint of mint in it I think, gravy was standard stuffChips were slightly soft, but I think it may be new potato season.I saw someone else say cash only, but it does day card machine broken in the front window.Overall still 5 stars as nice friendly staff and tasty food!

stopped in here last night during my shift. what else is there to be said except Awesomefish was beautifully cooked batter was crisp and golden not greasychips were perfection. add in a helping of curry sauce and a cold can of pop and it was just what was needed. will definatly be back for more

Just wanted to say this was a fabulous fish and chips, me and my flat mate throughly enjoyed eating and will deffo be returning to “me dads chippy”, just like you can always rely on your dad, you can always rely on ‘me dads chippy’ to pull through with a great fish and chips. I’m addition, when delivering the man was so lovely and kind and also informed us that they gave us free mushy peas (which was my first time trying mushy peas and I can confirm I will be ordering them from now on, they were delicious) and a free pot a gravy. Portion sizes are incredible so massive and great value for money, my new fave place is me dads chippy - thank you so much for a lovely lovely dinner xx

Very quick, easy to order to lightly battered fish and tastes delicious. It’s a bit out the way for us but well worth it. Kind regards AJ
