Corner House in Lancaster

Lots of menu choices and good value for money. My beef dinner was lovely. Mum said her chicken was over cooked and tough but she enjoyed the rest of it. We had to ask 3 times for extra gravy for our food so we had nearly finished by the time it arrived. My daughters both had pizza and salt and pepper chips and they said it was lovely. We went for Mothers Day meal which was very noisy and had lots of children running about in the other room with the seating booths. We enjoyed lots of cocktails on the happy hour menu which were great. I would recommend a stronger hand dryer in the ladies toilet or another way to dry your hands as the one there is pathetic and doesn't dry your hands.

This place is faultless, the staff are brilliant nothing too much trouble. The food is absolutely gorgeous. We ate off the Sunday lunch menu and had 3 course's. Highly recommended.

Just back from " The Corner House " and wanted to leave this review.As a party of 6 adults and 3 children we was really impressed. As it was happy house we expected the potion sizes to be smaller, they wasn't, the food was really impressive.I ordered pizza and ate it all ( a first for me) hubby ordered the seafood pasta and Said it was delicious and couldn't eat it all.A balloon was waiting on the table for the birthday girl and cake bought in on cue for the birthday song.Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, bravo to chef's too.Will be booking again soon .Thanks again for a lovely time.

The food here was nice if a little oily. We enjoyed the 2-4-1 drinks during Happy Hour and if we were to come back, it would be to choose different mains. Overall I recommend but be careful what you order!

Last night it was my birthday and I booked the table for 14 people,unfortunately 3of them cancelled on me last minute so I didn’t have time to let the restaurant know.When we arrived I was trying to explain to the man who took us to the table. He was VERY rude telling me I have to pay for the meals for those 3 people and talking over me even though I paid the deposit. He wouldn’t let me talk but ones I managed to he walked off 😡I didn’t catch his name but he was an elderly man with an accent that’s not English. We managed to get to the table and the lovely Waitress Carla sorted everything out and was just amazing throughout the time we was there.She made my night so thank you CARLA ☺️

A boisterous restaurant bar at the weekend, that's for sure.We've both eaten and drank here on separate occasions, and I think the place is great, depending on what you're looking for.The restaurant section is divided from the bar, but if there's live music on or loud music (most weekends), you'll struggle to hear over the table. However, the food is great value for money, there's always prompt service and the menu is actually pretty great.If you're going for some drinks and a dance, the bar area is brilliant. Giant passionfruit martinis are a great start! Recommend if you're up for a lively night!

Was a mixed experience, at first it looked promising, the service was going great. The cocktails were out of this world 10/10. However the food was disappointing. We ordered the ribeye, it came out boiled (chefs need to let the pan get red hot before putting the meat in it, because, caramelisation) it was sent back with these instructions. Came back to the table looking better. We also had the ricotta & spinach ravioli, the sauce was beautiful, but the pasta was undercooked. The starters and cocktails were the highlight of the night.From a chef, please, taste your food before sending it out, would come back again but for the ambience and drinks.

Went for lunch today 3 of us! Seated straight away! Came to us for drinks order then 5 mins later our food order! Manager & staff brilliant! Food was 10/10 came nicely presented garnished & & fresh!. They cater for Me Gluten & dairy free no problem! Every where clean eating area toilets etc! Real cosy friendly environment! 3 happy customers definitely be going again!.💯😋👍

We got married yesterday and as there were only 19 of us we booked a table at the Cornerhouse, telling them what it was for. Well, I'm so glad we did! The food was exceptional and the wonderful staff couldn't do enough for us. They really made our day so special and we can't thank them enough! They checked in on us so many times, gave us a huge free cocktail and a bag of goodies to take home too. They were genuinely so lovely and accommodating! Thank you so much Cornerhouse, we will definitely be back very soon!
