I have not been here for many years.It has changed in to a great café, shop and gift shop.

We had a warm friendly greeting straight away and ordered a full English breakfast and pot of tea. The food was lovely with a great cosy atmosphere. We'll be definitely calling again. There are loads of locally sourced products to choose from too. Well worth a pop in .

This place has a great cake selection. Their Coffee and Walnut cake was one of the best I've ever had - proper taste of coffee and plenty bits of nut in it - just how I like it! Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic place to stop for a bite to eat and shop. Such warm inviting staff and fantastic breakfast! Wish the owners could win the lottery and open another in York.

Fantastic tea room, great service and yummy food. The English Breakfast (specially the mushrooms) and scones were to die for!! 100% recommended, we went to the Lake District for a long weekend and we had breakfast there every day.

Wow! What an amazing find - such an unassuming front to a real gem of an old-fashioned store and tea room. Fabulous cakes, coffee and wonderfully friendly service to go with it. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. We were disappointed we couldn't stay for lunch as well! Really good value for money too. Will definitely make a point of going back if we're ever anywhere near again.

Beautiful tea rooms! Only small but it's cute and cosy. The service was amazing, the 2 men who served us were lovely. 4 of us had afternoon tea, I had a scone and a cuppa and my friend had a Cornish pasty chips and gravy which she enjoyed. I definitely recommend this lush little tea rooms.
