Dominick's Take Away in Lancaster

I've ordered twice from here the 1st time the food took 1.5hrs to arrive. Today 25.03.22 it was ordered at 18.35 and it is now 20.49 that is over 2.25 hrs and it has still not arrived. I phoned and was told it was being bagged up and that it would be on its way at 20.25 they cannot tell the time clearly. It is terrible. Your risk if you order from here

I can appreciate that delays happen but please don't lie! Called after 90 mins and told cooked ready for delivery, called 30 mins later and told still awaiting cooking. Cancelled order.

This place is a shambles. Few months months ago delivery just didn't come and couldn't get through. Tonight ordered over 1:15mins late. The staff have no idea when it will arrive as they have to do a number of deliveries on the way. The excuse of being busy isn't good enough, as this has been going on for months. You need more staff or to take less orders before you lose all your customers. Actually being slightly apologetic wouldn't go a miss instead of the staffs 'well it's not my fault' attitude.

Well it’s not the first time you’ve let me down but it will be the last !!!!!!! 8 hours drive from the top of Skye though I would order food in. 2 hours later had to cancel because had work in the morning? Thanks for letting me down again 👎👎👎 PS stop Blaming your drivers it just very bad management

Don't order if your hungry and want to eat at a set time as their delivery service is a joke.Calling them you get, "it's 10 minutes away", every time, even after the 4th call.Food ordered an hour in advance to arrive at 6:30 arrives at 8pm, stone cold.Complaint to Uber Eats ignored so credit card charge back underway.

Food is normally good but unfortunately service hasn't been as good recently. Often live on delivery apps, then reject orders when they come through or just don't reply. Delivery is often later than advertised as well.Understand and appreciate that they will be busy, but expectation-setting should be better.

Reason for 2 stars is literally for food quality. Service was far more worse than terrible! We have waited 2 hours+ for a delivery, even when we rang the 1st time round the man on the phone was very apologetic and offered to put some free cans of pop in our bag and said it was going to be 20 minutes later than planned. We rang after 30minutes to ask where our order was and we had a woman with a very negative attitude on the phone this time she tried placing all the blame on the driver and the fact they are located in Lancaster, like other takeaways are not 🤨 and just to add, no cans of pop were added to our delivery when it finally arrived not only disorganised but also dishonest. If anyone is ordering from this takeaway I advise you order a couple of hours before you are ready to eat 😡🤬

Waited for 2h for the food only to have it delivered by a woman who said that we should not have ordered the food so late 21:30 . I wish I could give it a minus 50 stars for delivery . The food was very good though. But the woman that did the delivery - totally unprofessional and unreliable. If you want to preserve your reputation you should find more qualified staff . You can do better than that .

Food is amazing 10/10. Service is terrible - hence the 3* review. My order came exactly 2h after it was ordered as opposed to the 45m advertised on the website.When I rung up to track my order, they hung up on me after I said what I was calling for and never picked the phone again. Upon delivery they were not apologetic of the 1h15m delay. The food is truly delicious, I hope they organize their delivery and operations better.

Just had a pizza and chips from here, fantastic food! Fresh, good quality ingredients, plenty of food, were absolutely stuffed! Would highly recommend!
