What a refreshing change! This place is really really good. Fast & friendly service and nice & clean . We were served our hot food within minutes and it looked and tasted amazing! Brilliant stuff, definitely be back.

Nice coffee, cakes and meals. Food is lovely. My son enjoys their waffles and pancakes. I like the cakes. Tables are socially distanced and there are booths. The staff are pleasant and friendly. American style diner.Had a lovely veggie burger and chips. Delicious 27/10/21There are lots of plug points - booths have them, also the separate chairs and tables... You can charge your phone, or plug in your laptop, sign into the Guest WiFi and work/socialise online if you like

Bob & Berts is lively and modern. The food has a range of all-day breakfasts, waffles and pancakes, as well as some more savoury selections. It's a really aesthetic and bouncy place for a quick bite of lunch in Lancaster centre, it fits the location quite well. The music is always great and the service is okay. The prices are slightly on the upper side, but the atmosphere and style of the place makes it understandable.Overall, a reliable option for Lancaster lunch but nothing more.

Food good, staff friendly, worth a visit if passing. Coffee beakers always full, no half measures, if I'm paying for a cup of coffee I want a full cup and you definitely get that at Bob and Bert's.

The cafe surpassed my expectation by far! I was looking forward to chicken waffles which is on the menu on the website but not in the shop, but the staff made it possible for me! The service was extremely quick. I found the food selection very nice and was also surprised by their selection of good quality teas. The staff even colour-coded our tea orders. Love these small attentive gestures :)

Food was really substandard. Although it was presented nicely... everything I had was obviously microwaved. Had hotdog and chips. The hotdog and pulled pork topping were cold, the bun was not fresh. The chips were undercooked. Also had chicken goujons which were good. Appreciate the free water. More places need to do this. Service was lovely. Staff are great. But, overall wouldn't go back for food. Maybe will try desert next time.

Great little modern cafe to get good coffee and great food. Order at the till, take a card and find a table. Warm welcome by the staff and good interaction leads to great customer service throughout. Plenty of tables including standalone and booths. Seating for approx 60 people.Cafe was clean and tidy, staff cleared tables quickly and the decor was friendly and bright.Time from ordering to eating was less than 5 minutes, food was very good quality and HOT! We had breakfast items at about 12pm, including waffles and french toast. Good value for money and expect to pay in the region of £8 each for a light meal and a drink.Loved it here, will definitely come back next time I'm in Lancaster!

I was disappointed by my meal, I paid nearly £18 including just eat delivery charges. I received 3 portions of soggy undercooked chips and a chicken burger that was wet and tasted awful. I had halloumi sticks that were more like shards and over cooked; and came with a side portion of chips that was undercooked and far more chips than the halloumi i actually ordered. I raised a complaint directly through Facebook messenger. I received no response at all.

We visited this place today, a great new business for Lancaster. Perfect central location. Staff were very friendly and polite. Service was fast. We ordered smashed avocado and poached eggs toast and spinach with poached eggs with a huge, almost exaggerated amount of hollandaise sauce; we had to remove it from the food, otherwise its flavour would have been completely overbearing. I would prefer to have it in a separate little bowl next to the plate and have the option to use as much as I need of this sauce. Unfortunately the avocado 🥑 was not fresh under that lava of hollandaise sauce. So overall the experience was just OK and not great as we were expecting. If they step up their food prep and keep the fast and friendly service this place has amazing potential.

Luckily I live in the first English city to host a Bob & and Bert's coffee house. The restaurant wasn't supposed to be open for another 2 days, yet on walking past the doors were wide open and welcoming customers. On entry we were greeted by a very friendly Irish chap, who explained how to order etc.The place is very warm and welcoming in its design and decor. Very well lit.The menu is surprisingly large. Enough so that I couldn't make my mind between the burgers, the dog's, the melts or chicken tenders!Having eventually chosen, the order process was quick, friendly and efficient. The wait on food was hardly any at all.The meals came hot and well presented. Portion sizes on point and everything full of flavour.Have to say that the whole experience went very well and surprisingly smooth for a restaurant that has just opened with everyone finding there feet.I can see a number of Irish team members overlooking everything. They're skiing a great job of doing so, as everything is running on point.Very positive first impression of visiting this brand. I'll certainly be returning again for some more delicious treats!
