Served meat when asked for a vegetarian burger yesterday!I ordered a moving mountains burger, I've eaten a lot of these in my time. I know how they taste, their colour and their texture. I was served a beef burger, and this was put in front of me by the waiter as a 'vegetarian' burger. I choose to reduce my meat eating due to the climate impact of meat production. So thankfully it was not a distressing experience for me to be served and to accidentally eat meat. But for many others this would have been extremely distressing. So please be warned that they may not respect your dietary requests in this restaurant.It was also disappointing to have to repeat my concerns to a staff member who tried to assure me that the patty is designed to look like meat. Someone on my table had also noticed it was not a moving mountains burger, just after I had realised. I have no idea if the staff member was knowledgeable of the deception, but please just believe your customers. And serve them what they order.

Had a great time, it was my birthday and the staff noticed so they came out with a candle in my desert, it was low-key but incredibly sweet and made my day! The rest of the food we ate was delicious and hope to go again soon.

A very beautiful setting. We had main courses, the mushroom pie is very good and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. I had a small pudding with a hot drink which was delightful.The place is spotless and the staff welcoming and efficient. I had some clubcard vouchers, so I got a discount in the bill.All in all a great visit with my daughter.

Went after work with friends and had no booking. Although originally they said we wouldn't be able to order food they managed to fit us in along as we were happy with a wait. Food came hot and quickly. Great customer service to fit us all in last minute.

Lovely atmosphere, delicious and nicely presented food, good pricing and friendly, helpful staff. Definitely recommend! Best place we've eaten out at for a long time! 😋

We had not booked. 8 of us arriving for lunch. It was no problem accommodating us. Food and service was excellent. Made our day out an enjoyable one

The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the main meal (battered halloumi) we both had was very tasty (sweets were good too and almost all were suitable for vegetarians and marked accordingly - excellent). The same could not be said for the main courses where the number of suitable vegetarian meals was very limited and was the only real downside of our visit.Guests were spaced well throughout the restaurant (social distancing ).I'm not sure what purpose pumping music into the car park serves other than sound pollution however?Mercifully, the background music in the restaurant was quiet (if unnecessary).Overall a very enjoyable evening.

Lovely Sunday roast with my partner. Really enjoyed a relaxing meal. Very good service.😃👍

I've been here a few times and it's been good but that was years ago. On Sunday we ordered starters and a child's main to come with the starters. Starters were served and the waitress said your child's dinner is on its way. It didn't come. We all finished our starters empty plates for 10 mins and I had to ask where is my child's dinner. When it arrived it was cold.Our mains arrived. The beef rib was cold, and the veg. Swimming in gravy. My dinner had a plastic milk lid inside.I showed this to the waitress whom did say she was sorry.Overall not a great experience. Staff friendly but no urgency.

There were two vegan mains available and I opted for the mushroom pie which was really tasty. The dessert menu was very disappointing though. Two options available - sorbet (loud snores, soooo predictable and boring) or torte. I was excited about the torte but was told it wasn't included in the two course deal even though it was the same price as other desserts on the menu included in the deal. Very disappointing! I had to watch my friend eat a pudding in front of me. It could affect my decision to return or to recommend it to anyone else. They need to improve this or will alienate people who are vegan as a life choice and particularly those with allergies like myself. 3 out of 5. Could do better Greaves Park.
