Green Ayre JD Wetherspoons in Lancaster

It's a Weatherspoons pub, so the food and drink is OK, great value if not Michelin starred. The chap serving was extremely polite and helpful. All in all a good start to the day and we really enjoyed our breakfasts.

A spoons like many others but not one of excellence. The building is a bit grubby and could do with a refurb. The food is the same as you can expect at any spoons and the staff are very friendly.

Been this evening and although busy with lots of youngster from university obviously, our order took 40 minutes to arrive and then was cold. Spoke to a duty manager over length of wait and he just shrugged his shoulders. The service off the young gent who brought our food which was two mixed grills was polite and even stated some food was forgotten on the mixed grill and will be with us shortly. We will not be returning to the pub and will be contacting Wetherspoons about this.

Not by any means the best food in a weatherspoons . Passable at best . It has the essential miles of stairs to the toilets so felt familiar . There are better places to have lunch it needs to do better the upper bar staff could be better mannered the meal service person was good even tho the food mainly a burger was hard overdone and burnt if honest just edible

I asked for a cocktail without the alcohol. So basically add everything else. Offered to pay same rate and they refused. Apparently they won't serve it without the alcohol. I ended up buying all soft drinks separately and making the cocktail ourselves. It was bizzare. I saved £2 doing it this way. I don't understand why they refused to serve a drink minus one ingriedient. It is like asking for removal of ice. It wasn't hard.

Great prices for food and drink. Enjoyed the fish and chips (although a few more chips on the plate would have been nice). Vibrant and busy venue.

It's a pub, nice food and the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 were the nachos we ordered as a side dish. Apart from that. Was nice

This place is excellent,great,happy, friendly staff,lager is top notch and great price...even better if you get with a meal,,, Small fish & chips pint of Stella , small scampi & chips pint of Stella , 2 mushy peas , bread and butter £11.65 beat that anywhere.

We came here for lunch, but ended up having a fantastic breakfast as it was way to early for their lunch service.We picked a table, which was dirty as any other free, but stuff cleaned it with no problem after asking for a clean table.Stuff was very helpful and friendly.Food was delicious.

Great place to enjoy your breakfast or late dinner. Super friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Prices are really affordable. I would definitely recommend this place. 👍
