Greggs in Lancaster

Considering that Greggs are a national blue chip company, they have a false economy attitude to not having more than 1 staff member taking orders and serving at busiest breakfast and lunch times every day of the week! I forget how many people myself and others have turned around at the ridiculous queues this creates as we do not have the time to wait easily 10/20 minutes. Area management system education in business management, thinking of brownie points with the company of wages saved, yet must lose double that in lost customers plus surplus criminal food waste access every day. Basically, a total joke.P s. The girls who are there every day are fantastic, but need HELP. National minimum wage?? Wake up greggs

Has everything you’d expect

A lot better now under new supervisor

They never seem to have anything left after 2pm

As to be expected, food is decent, though the inflation in price in recent years is absolutely sickening! Past few times either myself, my partner or both of us have been in, they've been running low on stock and need to get more staff to keep up with this, or open another store in Lancaster, was much better when we had Market Square too. One of the staff members, however, (Bev? I believe) was super friendly and helpful, made excellent suggestions and delivered what is certainly the pinnacle of customer service, if I ever visit this store again, she is literally the only reason why.

Great little shop located in a good place

Greggs can seem a very ordinary affair but my experience of this particular shop is that the food is always very fresh and the service is quick. I particularly like the local bacon they use in the fresh breakfast sandwiches.

Heather is really nice and great to chat to Nicole the younger one she's nice to get on with .

Shock to see no one wearing gloves while making food. Last visit for me.

Good choice available and conveniently located within local service station
