These guys get it! Tim was excellent from the moment we wandered in post a long hike with our 14 month old daughter on our back…NOTHING WAS AN ISSUE, 1st offered us a drink…then did you need something to eat… it was 1530… most pubs in Kirby Lonsdale won’t serve you after 1400, even though their kitchens don’t close before 1430 - still don’t get that!The pub is really well laid out & the decor is superb! It didn’t matter if our daughter wandered around & the staff all wanted to engage with her. A simple cheese board & some red pepper hummus - FANTASTIC!All round awesome experience!

Lovely meal the only place we actually enjoyed in our 4 nights in Kirkby longsdale. Ate twice here and the fish and chips was delicious . The waitress was so professional and bubbly and we all commented on her being so nice. We ate as a family of 6 and all enjoyed the food here.

The food was perfect, I really can't fault it. The service was excellent too. We were served by a very friendly and helpful young lady. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again Thank you.

Been coming here for just over month now and it has never disappointed us, lovely food and service every time, just wish it was bit closer to home

Been a few times before however this time I remarked on how superb the fish n chips were. Not soggy or too much batter which I find most of the time elseware. My partner has never been able to smell anything since a baby and for the first time in her life she could smell the fish cakes and the lamb her son was eating. She said they both smelled delicious. So bordering on a miracle. We will 100% return as it's just up the road from us also

We have been many times and have never been disappointed. Food is excellent and the staff so friendly as well as very efficient. Looking forward to our next lunch in a couple of weeks.

This is our second visit here this year. I have to say that the decor and the food were exceptional. We turned up without a booking for Saturday lunch and they managed to fit us in. The staff were very helpful and the service was top class. They have a great selection of wines and beers. It is a wonderful pub when you are inside, very friendly with a great atmosphere. Would recommend and will definitely come back.

Fantastic food, incredibly hospitable staff and great decor. What more could you want?! The coffee deserves a special mention too. Highly recommend.

Truly amazing food, every bite of it! Well priced and lovely welcoming service. Cosy warm atmosphere. Only spoiler was having the radio on in the background. While the music itself was good, the ads were quite annoying. But it was worth putting up with for the food!! A definite stop if you're in the area :-)
